  • my volume is on 0 and i still hear it

  • this was on Royal Pains midseason finale.

  • Woo ted leo!

  • 9 people won't tell the bartender.

  • Just came back from their performance at South Street Seaport! YOU GUYS ROCK!

  • i can easily see this being the soundtrack for a romantic comedy lol

  • Does anyone else hear the elvis costello influence in this?

  • This song needs a good video! Someone like Tom Sharpling would be perfect to direct it.

  • @resaf It already had one. And Tom DID direct it!

  • Thanks Pitchfork!!! ;D

  • this song is awesome

  • Another brilliant tune

  • I think I'm falling in love <3 haha I am already in love with Ted Leo :) his music is amazinggg

  • Does anybody know the chords to this song?

  • @goalstad Thank you for describing yourself to us.

  • amazing

  • WHO IS THAT ONE IDIOT WHO DISLIKED THIS?!

  • @absolutelysushi TWO IDIOTS NOW. fuckers.

  • @evilalbert I would like to know who the fuck would dislike this!

  • @absolutelysushi there's four now...

  • <3 (:

  • very good songwriter.

he shows that is still possible to make great music in the old style way, without special effects

  • @azzz555 Actually, this song is full of special effects, though not nearly as much as other songs on this album, such as Woke Up Near Chelsea. Then, there's the amazing track St. John the Divine, off Tyranny of Distance...

Anyway, the point is that Ted Leo uses a lot of special effects and he uses them very well.

  • Anyone got the 8th of May reference? What happened then?

  • @ineverfakejumps Except Germany agreeing to unconditional surrender in 1945, I don't know. But it seems it could be that.

  • @ineverfakejumps

The context of the lyrics would indicate it's probably the date when some of these events were taking place that impacted him enough to put them in this song. Not significant except to the artist.

  • should remix it and release it as a cd it would play on every juke box in every bar around the world

  • best song of 2010 yet

  • great album

  • love the song. very catchy

  • Nice.
