Think before you speak before you write!!! Yak-130 was developed by russian Yakovlev, Aermacchi played sponsoring NOT designing role! Only because of the sponsoring part they received the complete drawings of the plane!
The basic design it's by Yakolev, true, but Aermacchi redesigned many parts of the aircraft. M-346 it quite different than Y-130. It's bigger and you can see many differences, in tail; wing; front fuselage; gear; rudder... in almost all part of the airframe. And, obviously the avionic of the M-346 is much better that the one installed on Y-130. Just take a look.

yes it is but the truth is that they statred the project with the same prerequisites and reach a similar final results.
the two project are very different from the roots forward.
<this is a jet trainer the yak and Aermacchi startet the studies togheter and the rest is story.
