Think before you speak before you write!!! Yak-130 was developed by russian Yakovlev, Aermacchi played sponsoring NOT designing role! Only because of the sponsoring part they received the complete drawings of the plane!

i have never written that the design was developed by aermacchi, but m346 has got more advanced avionics than yak 130

The basic design it's by Yakolev, true, but Aermacchi redesigned many parts of the aircraft. M-346 it quite different than Y-130. It's bigger and you can see many differences, in tail; wing; front fuselage; gear; rudder... in almost all part of the airframe. And, obviously the avionic of the M-346 is much better that the one installed on Y-130. Just take a look.

Russians always copied (always wrong!). I flew many aircraft, the worst are Russians and Chinese, built with feet. Difficile da dirsi. Ci vorrà ancora tempo, per una questione di budget anzitutto, ma anche per l'enorme cambio operativo che un aereo di questo tipo comporterebbe visto il diverso inviluppo di volo.

The acquisition price of the 48 M-346 for the United Arab Emirates is undisclosed, but some says that could be worth around € 1 bilion. So around 20/21 million for each plane. Obviously are only rumors, so it's hard to be sure about that.

I don't need it, many friends of mine works in Aermacchi, in EADS, in Boeing, RR, etc... I know the true differences among the two projects, because I talk with them every day.
