this goes to south hills village butt doesnt go to ross park or greensburgh bever county or monroeville I think it should but its still a nice subway I just wish it went more stops
One time when they opened the "T" they had a contest to name the new line. I thought I would be a cinch with "PATube." But they broke tradition with not prefixing with PAT instead going with a nmae that was already in use in Boston. %*#@!#*$#@%!!!!
The "T" will never be as good as the old PCC's that ran before them. And no matter what people call them from TRAINS to the "T" they are still trolley's/streetcars.
I always wished they would take #4001 off the SHVRC lot and put it back as a nostalgic train to run on the weekends via Overbrook. It would be so cool (and they can still run them in Frisco and Philly; why not here?) I'd pay $4 or $5 just to hop on an old PCC at South Hills Village and take it downtown (the platforms are still there after all). Maybe for bonus, have it go via Allentown. :)
