I already know that, it's mentioned in the episode "Wake the Dead" when Shayera rejoins the Justice League. That's why I wrote my comment. I was angry b/c Superman sounds here like he was NOT IN FAVOR basing on what he said. However, b/c Superman was the tie-breaker, it makes me disappointed that Bruce would vote against her. First - the ending was sad. A tearjerker to the nth degree. But it was epic too, in its own way. :)
Second - a beef I have. A Green Lantern's ring is indestructible - it's mentioned in DCAU canon and John proves it in the first TWO MINUTES by punching with his ring hand with no damage done to the ring. And yet.... 01:35.

He could if the writers do for him what they did for flash. As power goes his ring is supreme to superman. His background as Marine should give him the most combat skill of any Green Lantern. In battle he should always be supreme. His character could be stiff, his words stern, sort of lifeless, but his combative nature mix in the ring being the most powerful thing in the universe, he should be on the list of top ten powerhouses.
I wonder what would have happened if Batman locked the watchtower on the force field and broke out of the watchtower and flew out with his glider from his utility belt before superman went into the watchtower to look for Batman?
I understand Wonderwoman. I would not dislike her if she voted Shayera out. Wonderwoman has a heart, but she's also tough. She is understandable because she grew up a warrior.
When GL actually responses to the questions about his lack of creativity using his ring, let me know or perhaps you can ask the real people who have control over his use of the power ring like the artists and the writers of JL. They did show a bit more imagination in the JLU series but the constructs are theirs not John’s who in the comic has a background as an architect which allows him to build complex constructs from the inside out.

I know from the discussion that Flash wanted her to stay cause he believes he can trust her and J'onn wanted her to stay because he doesn't want her to be alone like he was. Also in the director commentary they stated that they didn't feel that it was necessary to create a giant gun construct to shoot a blast that John could just shoot directly from his ring. In the comics John builds architectural constructs all the time but for the show they wanted him straight forward.
I love Alfred parts :)). I'm a Batman fan, i like all hes life, and what he does here and in thousands of similar situations, but i can't ignore the sacrifice this people is making. all of them, including HawkGirl. It will be so nice if in real life this kind of heroes exist or this kind of people will have any power. And look at superman how concern is about batman, and how he's gone to save him. How you people even compare them, they are friends..
John's main problem is that he has no creativity. He has what probably the most adaptable weapon in the universe, and he uses it for blasts/shields 95% of the time. He showed a bit in this fight, but he could do so much more.

The creativity we lost to education and assimilation during school years and society. It's a subtle societal issue the JLU touched on back in "Kidstuff". When GL was a kid again, and he couldn't make up his mind of what to make to use. But as an adult, well you can see it now.

Maybe, if they ever return, even with online episodes. They pick up fromt his point. Having the Lantern in the first few episodes, using overkill powers due, to losing Shayera. After about two or three episodes, he leaves the League in search of her. Forcing Oa to send back Hal Jordan. And the show grows in two directions. One the fate of Earth, Two would be John Stewart and Shayera, looking for a home, which they eventually find on Oa.
I still think John Stewart should have left with Shayera. They could have escaped to OA together. Where John Stewart story could have lived on, and allowed Hal Jordan to come back to sector 2814, until he gets infected by the Parallex. with the entire universe riding on John Stewart. Eventually Stewart returns to sector 2814 as the Lantern, possessing all the larterns colors, with no weaknesses

@PaulAnt2008 Marvel still makes some great ones. The spiderman series of the 90s, X-Men of the 90s, X-Men Evolution (cheesy premise but actually is very good). Still though, this series, along with batman: the animated series are the creme of the crop. An honorable mention should go to batman beyond and teen titans though.

I loved this show but there some plotholes. 1) Green Lantern turns the tide of the first fight in his favor by outdueling the veteran Hro Talek in an axe fight, a weapon Hro has been using for decades. 2) Hro really goes for a precision blow to Lantern's ring rather than just taking off the hand or, heck, GL's head? 3) Hro defeats a fellow thanagarian well-trained in combat and armed with a piece of their people's melee weaponry, but then loses to an injured human who attacks him with a pipe?

if you watch unlimited (the one with Solomon Grundy) you can tell who voted in which way. since superman broke the tie by allowing her back in the league, it's obvious he voted for her in the first round. the way flash hugged her at the end also says that he voted for her, and of course GL (former love interest) would vote for her too, leaving Bats, Martian, and wonder woman voting against her

@sessionkiller juries have odd numbers specifically to avoid ties. with having an even number of people in this case, it's very possible that supes would have a tie breaking vote in the even of a 3-3 draw

Justice League was brilliant, in my opinion, until the last season of Unlimited. I think it was all nothing but unnecessary filler. That spectacular battle between the whole seven and Luthor/Brainiac should have ended the whole arc, because the ending was very fitting: Brainiac destroyed once and for all, Cadmus exposed and dismantled, and Luthor in prison for life.
The third season was UTTER CRAP compared to the first two and "Justice League".
nearest I can tell from watching the episodes. They say later on that Superman broke the tie in favor of her staying and that GLn had abstained from voting b/c he loved HG. Diana in this episode and in later ones is obviously not in favor of her staying and Flash is obviously in favor of her returning in this one and others. J'onn seems to welcome her back and not be opposed to her staying in this episode. If that guess is right then that leaves Batman as no. But he trusts no one anyway.
I kind of liked Superman's earlier look, with the wrinkles and bigger body. It was somewhat more realistic, especially since the makers de-aged him after the first season.
Hro Talek/Hawkman's VA, Victor Rivers said he felt uncomfortable in the scene where Hro beats up Shiaira because he's an advocate against abuse of women. That's why they replaced a shot of him punching her with a shot of him attacking her with his ax.
You dont really hear much about Hawkman, but he pops up every once in awhile and insanely beats the shit out of somebody and goes away... I can get behind that. LMAO!!
@SS2GohanisBomb1 Nth metal. It's a Thanagarian mineral that is extremely effective against magic. I believe the series later calls it Transuranic Iron. As can be viewed when Hawkgirl fights Dr. Fate, and also in later episodes of JSU.

@PaulAnt2008 Well Marvel made the better shows in the 80s and the early 90s they did great with Spiderman and Xmen animated series but the 2000s and the Batman animated series in the 90s DC has done the better job

@PaulAnt2008 Marvel still makes some great ones. The spiderman series of the 90s, X-Men of the 90s, X-Men Evolution (cheesy premise but actually is very good). Still though, this series, along with batman: the animated series are the creme of the crop. An honorable mention should go to batman beyond and teen titans though.

Young Justice will never top this. YJ and Teen Titans are about teenagers, so they have to waste like half the episode figuring things out.
JL is 7 dudes with like 50 powers each fighting some serious crime, and actually know what they are doing and looking for.

@Lightner445555555555 They were wanted to destroy earth because the device they were using was the last link in a chain (so to speak), that would allow them to bypass the Gordanian Planet's defenses in a strike that would have allowed them to end the war for good. I'm not saying that it was the best thing to do (obviously). What I'm saying is that you're not giving the whole picture.

I loved this show but there some plotholes. 1) Green Lantern turns the tide of the first fight in his favor by outdueling the veteran Hro Talek in an axe fight, a weapon Hro has been using for decades. 2) Hro really goes for a precision blow to Lantern's ring rather than just taking off the hand or, heck, GL's head? 3) Hro defeats a fellow thanagarian well-trained in combat and armed with a piece of their people's melee weaponry, but then loses to an injured human who attacks him with a pipe?

@GrapeCheckerBoard Well, Number 3 isn't really a plot hole - GL goaded Hro into attacking, and then moved to allow Hro to electrocute himself. Even someone well-trained in combat can be tricked.

if you watch unlimited (the one with Solomon Grundy) you can tell who voted in which way. since superman broke the tie by allowing her back in the league, it's obvious he voted for her in the first round. the way flash hugged her at the end also says that he voted for her, and of course GL (former love interest) would vote for her too, leaving Bats, Martian, and wonder woman voting against her

@godzillaisking Superman's the leader of the group, the one who formed the justice league (with the help of batman's money to build the tower) so it's only natural that he gets the tiebreaking vote in the event of a 3-3 in the first round (even though superman voted in the first round too)

@sessionkiller juries have odd numbers specifically to avoid ties. with having an even number of people in this case, it's very possible that supes would have a tie breaking vote in the even of a 3-3 draw

Justice League was brilliant, in my opinion, until the last season of Unlimited. I think it was all nothing but unnecessary filler. That spectacular battle between the whole seven and Luthor/Brainiac should have ended the whole arc, because the ending was very fitting: Brainiac destroyed once and for all, Cadmus exposed and dismantled, and Luthor in prison for life.
The third season was UTTER CRAP compared to the first two and "Justice League".

nearest I can tell from watching the episodes. They say later on that Superman broke the tie in favor of her staying and that GLn had abstained from voting b/c he loved HG. Diana in this episode and in later ones is obviously not in favor of her staying and Flash is obviously in favor of her returning in this one and others. J'onn seems to welcome her back and not be opposed to her staying in this episode. If that guess is right then that leaves Batman as no. But he trusts no one anyway.
