I am sure that sometime in the future, you will hear about an anthem contest which you can enter for a chance to do this.
And, from my understanding, the Lord always works things out as He knows best and if you do not get to perform for a major sports team, He might have something even better for you.
If you happen to be living in the area of one of these teams and you do a Google search for that team, there might be a way for you to contact them about an opportunity to do this and I am sure they will be happy to inform you of when auditions will be for the coming season.
And, should you be able to contact that team, you may want to mention your email address in the message itself.
@mannbradmusic I've tried that but I find that they don't really respond to things. A lot of the phone numbers are dead ends, with lots of unreturned voicemails.
