lucid dreams... I have these a lot. I realise the dream as it is and become able to fly by forcing pressure out my feet.
it´s not that hard to experience lucid dreams, if you remember dreams you can lucidly dream as well. just pick a common theme in your dreams or item and force yourself to make this remind you of the real world. eventually you´ve got it and you become the master of your dreams!
the problem is that when we reborn in our physical body we forget about our true nature cause the information about our true self dont go to the brain, our physical body limits our spirit to manifest
Thank you for posting your your knowledge on Yoga- you have really helped me to better grasp/understand key elements of what Paramahansa taught here in the U.S. in the early 20th century.
I very much appreciate this video. I had just heard about Kriya for the first time last night and found the SRF ...thanks to what you've shared here I have a better idea of how things are.
Self Realization fellowship does not have a copy right on Kriya Yoga... Thier is an Ashram In Miami and the Guru's travel and the initians are free....
SRF may not have as you say but they have the true representation of all the techniques. Paramahansa Yogananda not only speaks the truth but lived it like few have. I have been a disciple of His for over 32years and the results speak for themselves.
What do you think about Shaktiananda? Sh says she received kriya directly from Babaji and have an Association called Shaktiananda de Babaji. She lives in Venezuela...
To learn kriya yoga you should contact self realization fellowship, no matter where you live. They will mail you the lessons, which are practically inexpensive, that way you will be taught the right way. There are other technics that you have to learn first.... and after one year you can apply for kriya yoga.
It is very important to do it this way as you will also get gurujis blessings and help with your kriya lesons
Thank you for this video. I just recently signed up for Self Realization Fellowship course. I am still awaiting my first package so i can start practicing.
if someone who is little bit logical and have knowledge of science will never belive in stories of this book autobiography of yogi, flying man, walking on water, fighitng with tiger.
all of them are mythological and it is is impossible
Some of the greatest minds are no so hindered, though. Einstein was a great proponent of the imagination, and he recognized that there was much more beyond science in the nature of the spiritual.
For myself, and even since I made this video, I have experienced miraculous manifestations that have confirmed for me that these things are not just metaphorical, mythological and psychological events, but that they are also objective and more real that even I had imagined not a short time ago.
These things are only impossible until you experience them. I would incourage you keep your mind open to all things or you will limit yourself and your experiences.
If you say these things are impossible, you're right. I you say these things are possible, you're also right. Just because science can't prove or explain something it does not mean something does not or cannot exist/happen.
I love Autobiograhy Of a Yogi! This book is changing my life (I'm by the end of reading it)..It's inspiring me to meditate more.. and I can just feel the love..from Paramhansa..and his guru Sri Yukteswar..
have you ever experience the zero level conciousness...if yes...how u prevent yourself being getting down to your normal ego when you are just near to merged with the divine blackness within...
The most conscious and sustained experiences of what I think you are referring to as "zero level" have occurred during deep sleep states - yet I remained aware. There was only the blackness of the Void - yet "I" remained. At these points for me, there was no struggle with the normal ego. There is no thought in the lower ego sense of it. There was just pure Being - pure "I"ness and no agitation whatsoever.
I do agree with you. Hints need to be placed at all of the various points along the path of consciousness. I am particularly fond of the one that you have shared and embrace this. Sharing about past lives helps some to begin to detach from the strong identification with this life and personality. It can be a stepping stone into what you have offered. Some can make that leap without a problem and others need a few more stepping stones. Blessings!
@Hackiesacker007 Kriya yoga is the airplane route to god. Have you practiced it? One practice of kriya yoga evolves the soul 1 year of normal evolution.
The Science of Kriya Yoga is performed within the laboratory of the individual, and it's results manifest in the subjective experience. Would it not be purely unscientific to discount any experiment because of contempt prior to investigation?
I can understand why someone who loves science and reason would be put off by AOY. The stories seem too fantastic.
I am not driven by faith and belief, but by conviction and knowledge based upon my own experiences.
Personally I have no doubt about Yogananda or Babaji, because I have had similar experiences as those related in the book. I have followed the path of yoga and found it to be true for me.
A strong belief in science can block you from the experiencing the miraculous.
As and True Indian i want to warn you for Fraud Spritual teachers in India they had make business of religion and make fool of innocent foregin seekers.there are only 10% gurus out of 100% which are not fraud.
brother did you had ever joined VIPASNA meditation centre that is great,it had centers all over the world, they teaches meditation for 12 days and locked you,you cant talk, you cant read,i had join it in bhod gaya where buddha get englightment, search it on google
Thanks for the advice. By the Grace and Blessings of Bababji, I have found my own Divine Satguru.
Unfortunately, when you are less spiritually developed, when you need the most help, finding a true guru will be much more difficult - you will be easily taken in. When you are more developed spiritually you will be more able to discern a true guru.
However painful or not, one can learn quite a bit from experiencing a false guru. Hopefully people won't discount all gurus because of the bad ones.
did you had ever listen about sun gazing it came under the hatha yoga it remove all the diseases and make a person non eater and led to englightment ,i am doing sun gazing from 4 months and my mental power had increased and now i feel less hungry.search it on google sun gazing.watch HRM VIDOES ON youtube, there is not any more easy and practical practice than sun gazing.
Thanks for the advice. I am familiar with sun gazing. Are you also using the Gayatri mantra - Om Bhur Bhuva swaha, Tat Savitur Varenium, Bhargo Devasya Dheemahee, Deeyoyona Pratchodayat? (I wrote it out more phonetically for the sake of others english readers.)
I think a lot of the things he is talking about are very important. I don't think he should knocked for being educated in multiple metaphysical subjects. If anything I'm turned off by spiritual speakers that only believe in one path. And he's not trying to sell anything.
I hadn't visited India at the time I made this video. I have only recently visited for almost 2 weeks. It was an awesome experience, made even moreso by being with Dattatreya Siva Baba who guided a group of us in visiting many special temples over Navaratri.
Lavendergirl makes a good point. Stick with SRF. God knows I've been trying to get out the point that the false teachings of Yogi Ramiah and Marshall Govindan have tortured the truth about Babaji Maharaj. So watch out for all the false teachings about Kriya Yoga on Youtube, Myspace and the internet.
The Truth can be found. Babaji can be known. The Guru's blessings can be invoked. None of this will be found in any book or organization, but only through the complete surrender of one's own heart to the Divine.
You seem level headed but it is very hard to find the truth outside of an established community of genuine spiritual people. And I reiterate my point, don't go to the false teachers. I am recommending SRF to sincere seekers of Kriya Yoga. If you would be a fool, go to Kriya Yoga Institute (Hariharananda) or Kriya Babaji (Yogi Ramiah), etc. or buy a book by Marshall Govindan. If you would be wise, seek the counsel of good spiritual people.
I am not discounting the value of any book or organization, nor am I taking the position that any particular book or group is false. In a sense it is all the same - you will have to empty your heart of both false AND true teachings so that the Grace of God can enter into you.
checking out your forum page (o: and btw, getting to this point, the walk has been quite interesting. i kept looking for more on kriya because it seemed like there was something additionally to understand about accessing the information - also i just remembered i met someone recently who offered to show me the local ananda center [website says they require prerequisites]. this has been quite a waking dream, so to say, my own inner world and how it shows up regarding this and other matters.

The main outlet for kriya is SRF (Self-Realization Fellowship), which is the group founded by Yogananda, and there is Ananda, which was founded by a disciple of Yogananda.
