  • this song makes me laugh alot.

  • nas masde a good one, back 11years this piece still make big sense ,,,i grew up listening to rap ,i grew listening to nas ..kip faith broda....

  • my fav nas album since middle skool

  • One of the Best Songs for me from Nas on my Ipod :D

  • Well, I guess the song "Heaven" from God's Son was sort of like this, with the fast rapping. But that song is infinitely better than this song and he obviously tightened up his delivery for that.

  • I love Nas, but this is a pretty terrible song... he struggles to even rap in rhythm with the beat. It just sounds awkward. There's probably a reason he never tried to rap like this ever again.

  • @jagajazzin i agree this is horrible. Nas is my fav rapper but this is not hot.

  • man we already did that!

  • I think we all have these problems, those of us who grew up in the inner city. We are good people deep down inside but it's hard to shake old ways and habits and be completely righteous! I give Nas mad props for his music cause he does go outside the box and come up with good stories! So you can't knock somebody for evolving! Let's stop the fighting and support each other for a chance!

  • @SADDAMNYOUALL people have identity problems during their teen years, it becomes solidified as you grow and mature, at a certain point you develop your own moral code and things that you believe in and stand for...so if you're over 25 and you're having those types of issues you're the moron...its all psychological...but this is music, and his MUSICAL identity has yet to be defined, he contradicts himself more than Pac ever did...

  • @RKG5A5

he doesn't really need an identity, because this is music. if it's good lyrically and musically, thats that matters really. but this song is bad, and he is better than pac.

  • Underrated album

  • Those people who hit dislike this were probably get fucked by gay z

  • Nas is Like remix /watch?v=5K8y5PsmywE

  • 10 people hit the dislike button by accident.

  • man, the first time i heard this track, i swear i found myself holding my breath for most of it because his flow and content are amazing.

  • @Pokepimp30875 same to you you fucking homo dick riding stan

  • @scarface1224md LMAO my account is named after pokemon?!?

i cant argue with you now youre obviously just a little retarded little guy have fun blowing nas little man

  • @scarface1224md dude stop asking questions write properly.

  • @Domtubedubstep stop replying with unneeded comments that show your low level of intellect and how bored you must be, that you reply to a comment I made over a year ago just because it has 60 thumbs up.

  • @arjay92 wow.. your the biggest fucking lose i've seen lol get a fucking life you fagtard, if you don't like nas than..... GET THE FUCK OUT!!!!

  • used to chase the hoes now i chase the dough yall bitches gonna help me get paper? NO

  • @Pokepimp30875 get off his dick

  • this song is inspiring if anythin..I put this on and start day-dreaming

  • @Pokepimp30875 wow i wrote that comment a year ago. i cant even remember what the context was. Why are you tellin me to stfu?

  • @mariusbleek i think hes trying to troll and failed epicly

  • Honestly I dont know what anyone is talking about if they call this album flashy, NY state of mind 2, small world, favor for a favor, we will survive, ghetto prisoners, I want to talk to you, life is what you make it, Big things, Nas is Like, Money is my bitch, and arguably his best track made Undying love. Wheres the flash thats all but 4 tracks right there and even the ones left out were good. Most of lost tapes is suppose to be on I am too, would have been the best rap Cd Period

  • @Justo2203 but of course it was heavily bootlegged and Nas pulled last quarter of the Cd. Come now No Ideas original, Drunk by Myself, My way on this Cd and no one would have been able to top it.

  • can someone tell me which nas song he wrote as a prison cell? i herd it once before but cant remember the name

  • @TheShawnyoda The Song's "Last Words" on the Nastradamas album.

  • This was the worst song on this album...just horrible, almost humorous

  • @RKG5A5 I agree but its actually funny to listen to because you know this was his attempt to be commercial

and make a statement at the same time!

  • @MrGcmrG

lmao poor nas...he's still struggling to find an identity to this day

  • @RKG5A5

he's an afro-centric, asian, gypsy, egyptian, colombian drug-dealing prophet.

  • @cryptogramz lmfao hahahahahahaha

  • @RKG5A5

i fell bad for you if your the same person as 10 years ago. Jealous much???????. Thats why nas is so great i have grown and matured along with his music. you my friend are a terd.

  • @jeffery9950

Friend? LOL Slow down guy. Jealous? No, just cynical. && this song has grown on me a little since I made my initial comment(s) but the fact of the matter still remains that you can listen to one of his CD's and get 30 different ideas of what he stands for...which is misleading. You preach one minute and smack ass the next? People criticize Pac but this is worse, even with his own religion...God Body, Christian, Pagan, Muslim, Mystic?? you have your own pre-conceived notions though

  • @RKG5A5 Human nature is contradictory. The difference is, your life isn't placed under a microscope for those on the internet, that perceive themselves as perfect, to judge

  • @Bankallday

I hate to have to quote Jay-Z but...

"Is it Oochie Wally or is it One Mic, is it Black Girls Lost of shorty ow you for ice"

I have never seen someone go from one extreme to the other in their changes and just so you know Oochie Wally and One Mic were released around the same time...

  • @Beep23 lol @ you thinking you're schooling me on hip hop by telling me Oochie Wally and One Mic were released around the same time. I know that, I bought Stillmatic in 01 and my homeboy had that QB's Finest cd. Nas's verse wasn't even on that.

And stop fooling yourself, Pac would do the same thing with records like Brenda, Dear Mama, Keep Your Head Up and then do How Do U Want It, & I get around.

And I see absolutely nothing wrong with that because no one is as one-sided as you're suggesting

  • @Bankallday

Why're you all sensitive as if I'm trynna school you, I just added that because I don't know you, so how the fuck am I supposed to know what you know and just as a side note I don't care much for Pac, I think people nowadays tend to overrate him and make to be some sort of rap God

Also nowhere did I say people are one-sided, all I said was that I have never seen anybody go from one extreme to another like Nas does certainly not in such a short time span...

  • @Beep23 Nas went from Oochie Wally to One Mic cuz of the industry

Jay Z's style never changed cuz hes always been supporting the industry's agenda

    Money, girls, and arrogant fame

Nas was a real prophet and slowly got broken apart from corruption

  • @ThumbsUpMike

You're buggin if you think Jay or his style didn't change...

  • @Beep23 i dont mean when he was rapping in the 80's

im talking about once he started his solo career

  • @ThumbsUpMike

so you're sayin that Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint 3 are the same flow and/or style wise...?

  • @Beep23 rap flow no

style yes, still rapping about sellout topics, never changed

  • I am was the shit. Nas top 3 album for sure

  • I am was actually decent.....better than Nastradamus!!

  • Nas is wanna the best eva, top 3 atleast. but this album was not him at all. This was when he was tryna get into the flashy, bling bling shit. Glad that after this he whent back to his own shit

  • uh haaa, uh haaa

  • Nas the best!!!

  • Yeah... Im a Big Thing... Big Tymer...

  • good song, but feels like hes biting jay z here. ahem nigga what flow.

  • @shecanfeel you are an idiot

  • @shecanfeel Na he aint bite jay why cause he spittin fast ?

  • @shecanfeel Nah Biggie did Notorious Thugs, then Nas did this to show he could keep up and get at Cormega. This song fed fuel to the QB inner beef between Nas, Mega, Prodigy etc. Hov atually did it last when he made Nigga What Nigga who. And in case it all neds to be tied together. Biggie made kick in the door at Nas, so Nas had to show his lyrical ability. Hov just copied cause everyone else did it.

  • @Justo2203 i see, but jay's nigga what nigga who dropped nearly 1 year before this song. besides if u hear jays older materials even before resonable doubt, he sports this flow,

  • @shecanfeel You right I had the release date messed up. Im ify on Jay old work as a hip hop fan only because ive always felt Jay-Z's flow goes to the highest bidder. First he started out fast, the streets wanted slow so he did slow, then rap got commercial and he went commercial. Granted I think he is a great business man in that case

  • @shecanfeel I guess im just saying I dont think anyone can truely copy Jay anyway cause his whole career has been based on copying lol. Even down to being named Sean Carter and pulling Jay-Z out of his ass after chilling with Jaz-O

  • BEST CD PERIOD

  • Nas is sick

  • "Shooting niggas in cold blood, just kill him so what." Sad but very true.

  • When niggas don't see eye to eye to you, lie to you, wanna get high wit you, wanna eat food off off yo labor and take food off your table. cause they don't see yo vision, don't understand yo mission. it's to make history while you here, how long you plan on living? CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im into big things...pause

  • @rgfilms08projecthope "im in the big things"

  • @eznquick well keep hating

Cuz Nas is crowned the best lyricist and one of the best to ever live

so oboviously he did something right dumbass....so your telling me Illmatic, It was written, Stillmatic, The lost tapes, and Untitled ain't big?

then you dont know hip hop for shit and your probably a guy who loves lil wayne and soulja boy and only songs that belongs in clubs

    ignorant:)

  • @eznquick you say nas is what???

  • Anyone that calls this song whack just doesnt know the origin, for one everyone messed with the fast thing around that time, Notorious Thugs, Nigga what Nigga who, and Big things for Nas. Also this is a song that heated up the Nas and cormega beef

  • @Justo2203 yeah word, the third verse is obviously referring to Cormega

  • nas is life one luv he soo ill man

  • anyone notice the diana ross interpolation on the beat? its the same melody but not sample i think, sounds like they replayed, but it came out great. dope beat and song.

  • Was he off the doming in this? He barely had any rhythm in beginning...

  • Nas is the best

  • this man called NAS is future for Hip-Hop Culture nobody like him cogrulation Nasir Jones my favourite album is I am.!!sure is best,I dont know for you but this is BomB

  • @Rakmanification This is one of his worst albums....and he is in his 40s..how is he the future

  • @Rakmanification the future? dude was the future 20 years ago? still the best but get your facts right faggot

  • I Am... is a good album, and very underrated. That being said, this song is worse than any song on Nastradamus. Nas trying to rap like the Bone Thugs over a quiet Casio-based sample of the "Mahogany Theme" is just absurd. This is easily Nas's whackest song ever.

  • @FeloniousDrunk ya think.....what about that song he did with Genuwine? I think that's on I am too. lmao.

  • @komjonggirl666 Nope, it's on Nastradamus. What a disaster THAT was, lol. I Am... is actually really good, minus a few missteps.

  • @komjonggirl666

That song he made with Genuwine was terrible, but at least Nas stated that he regreted ever doing that collaboration, and if he could go back, he woudnt have done it

  • I Am and Nastradamus are his only bad albums .

  • @JayChyllin09 I Am is not a bad album, I don't know why I Am gets so much hate, because it's a great album

  • aahah I can see why tupac wrote that beef on nas into against all odds cause the collab went south but.... I can hear tupac in the first line nas sings in this song... I can see why tupac felt he was rippin his style off but.... prior to this , his first release was illmatic. THat is the single best rap album, of all time. illmatic, and it was written blow tupac's shitty ass cali rap in the sun BS out the fuckin ash hole. Snoop was the only good west coast rapper.

  • @GodlessMartyr666 an for the idiots who read this and freak balls Im not sayin pac is IN the song. Im sayin Nas sounds EXACTLY like pac when the song starts.

  • I forgot how hot this album is. I gotta take out my nas cds

  • man he is so gangster

  • yoo this shit bumpssss!!

  • 2nd best song on the album, after Hate Me Now.

  • Spitt fast there. Nas is second to none yall

  • That album cover speaks volumes

Ancient Egypt was Black I dont give a fuck what science say

  • Get yours nigga

  • youtube naw i cant fuck you i'm in to big things

  • I love this song!

  • this sampling from 'Theme from Mahoganý' (Do you know where you're going to?) really kool

  • Dam this brings me back 10 years

  • @avcwes

Would you let Nas rub his balls against your

    neck ???

  • This has a really tight flow.

  • -Dis dat piffery rite here, dis shit grew on me heavy,i love dis shit, only a real nigga could relate tho..

  • this is real gangsta shit

  • I used this song for motivation, " what can stop you from making a mill you can prevent this why niggas dont see eye to eye" Man I love this song

  • the best album ever

  • Oh yeah this was one of this best songs hands down. This song goes like an anthem. This is one of my theme songs right here.

  • love this trak big things nas really got off in this its the shit

  • anybody got the instrumental to this??

  • Yeah I Got It. Check Out My Channel Detroithd4life. Please Rate, Comment And Subscribe.

  • Another hot track from Nas..this is a must have album. This was one of the best tracks. Nas needs to come back and bring back the real shit, b/c today's Hip Hop is nothing but commercial.

  • probably the nicest track on the album

  • You crazy!!! this track is HOOOT!! Produced by Al West

  • yo you are crazy baltimoreblitz16. Nas is an ORIGINATOR. Hes one of the few lyricist that can actually do something different and make it hot. This song is what made rapping fast hot in NY, and like every NEW thing that Nas does, it works.

Who wrote a song backwards? Nas

Who wrote a song a gun? Nas

Who wrote a verse as a prison cell? Nas

"Shoot Em Up" creative 1st verse: Nas

"One Mic" slow and calm, to upbeat and loud: Nas

Nas is true hiphop, hes an ORIGINATOR, and it works great

  • or gave you power*

  • @scarface1224md NAS ALSO SAID MONEY IS MY BITCH......... HANDS DOWN THE MOST CREATIVE MIND AROUND, HE WONT GET THE REAL CREDIT HE DESERVES UNTIL HES DEAD....... ITS SAD BUT TRUE

  • @scarface1224md

I thought it was kool g rap or kane that started that in around 1990-91........ When was this album released?

  • @romainelettuce2

They may have started it, idk, I wasnt around during the kool g rap and big daddy kane era of hip hop. But Nas definitely helped make it mainstream and something that others followed. I just like the uniqueness of alot of Nas's work. And he does it while still having a meaning behind his music, whether it be the hood, God, or something else. Nas always has a message in his music, and he's not afraid to say whats on his mind.

  • @scarface1224md You right on point homie, NAS is too much for these simple minded fools...

  • @scarface1224md Nas sets the standard..He is very creative..he's the greatest and the realest...

  • @scarface1224md who sucks nas dick? YOU

    whos on nas dick? YOU

who needs to get off nas dick? YOU

who knows how nas dick taste? YOUUUU!!

  • @scarface1224md or a song b4 u even born.. fetus...wth Nas is Nasty!

  • dis is a good track unusal considering nas flow but still good (dis album 1 of my personal favorites bcuz it was a decent album hell almost a fukin classic)

  • I remember bumpin this shit on my way to high school on the bus this shit is a classic i luv dis song...

    Get big things yal....

  • hell ya i used ot luv bumpin shit wit my big ass headfones..onthe train on the way to skool

  • The bootleg double disk was the ish

  • this is my favourite nas album =]

  • Whoever thinks this album sucks is an idiot... Nastradamus was the corny one... This and Illmatic were ALWAYS decent albums.

  • decent? fuck is wrong with you illmatic was classic and this was had classic songs on it as well

  • It was had? Go the fuck back to school.

  • Nastradamous was the corny one? Son it's the deepest album Nas has EVER done!

Fuck that sounding good shit, this ain't about mainstream pop sound!

  • @DjHivesIsGayLOL It couldn't have been the deepest if you didn't spell it right.. lol. It's the shittiest album he did in the 90s.

  • Ok son, you don't understand Nas lyrically, it's kool, now fly away. Shoo.

  • I think the last verse was for Cormega, they cool now from what I understand. 1

  • shut the fuck up. The point of this album is that its NOT supposed to be illmatic. If that were the case, he woulda never released a single album after 1994. I am... was an amazing album, not a single half ass rhyme on the whole LP man.

  • I know that Nas is always wanting to move forward and not go back and Stillmatic was moving forward from illmatic, it Was Written was too.

and i aint talking bout the rhymes, they were written well as always, im talking bout the style and rhyming flow that isnt amazing. he has a few good points on the album but nothing special.

Illmatic, Stillmatic, etc are NaS spitting flow thats heavy and original. This here just seems half ass compared to naS at his best

  • @mariusbleek oh yeah, this one of my fav albums all time

  • i agree that illmatic, it was written, lost tapes, and stillmatic had better flow...but thats because those albums were not only classic but genius (esp illmatic)...thats almost impossible to duplicate. This album is still a whole lot better than most people's shit out there.

  • i anit heard dis in some years brings back memories

  • big girl nas

  • DAMN, this is one of NAS' WORST tracks and its still NICE!! THat's sayin' something; FUCK you Haters!!
