yeah I agree. I think the big four are just the most POPULAR ones, not the best. I think testament could dethrone all of them. Their technical skills along side their killer material is better than anything I've ever seen. Nuclear Assault has tight ass riffs and they are at least equal to anthrax. Metallica and Megadeth were good bands at first but now, their material just isn't the same. These thrash bands shatter the big four.

Back in 92 I picked up this album. I was 12 at that time, and I swear the album this song is from changed my out look on playing the guitar. This is one of my favorite songs from this CD.

You should of made him listen to "Seasons in the Abyss." The reason people say that is because Slayer is very chaotic in their style. Thats what you get, its just that TYPE of music. Its difficult to listen to and takes time and other bands to get you into Slayer.
