I had a similar experience. The candle started to burn almost entirely white, so bright it hurt the eyes. The flame spread to the rim of the candle. The wick and the wax mainly along the rim were ablaze. It started to crackle violently to the point where we opted to put it out. It proved unusually hard to do so. I ruled out chemicals and the wax hitting flash point still behaved unnaturally. And it was a reaction to something I had said. So... in conclusion I hope I don’t get taken away.

Actually, orbs are not demons. Although Ouija boards CAN summon demons, that is not always the case, and I don't think it is in this case either. And the grandmother being dead is actually mandatory for a seance.

You shouldn't have dome the "Jesus thing" protection because it shows you are not fully committed to the experience and are playing it safe and limiting it.
In my own personal experience, doing something for protection is necessary. Whether it is calling on Jesus (although I think that is rather contradictory--seances and Ouija boards are EXTREMELY anti-Christian, but whatever) or casting a protection spell (for all the Pagans and Wiccans out there!). Otherwise, you don't know what you're summoning, and if it'll stay.
Breaking the circle can cause some spirit interraction to completely fail, once its broken the medium is released from possession (if they were). And sometimes the spiritual energy can drain cameras energy or be attracted to it. For the most part it looks like you researched before doing this. =D Safety first.

I've seen trails like these supposed "orbs" in my own videos, and I wasn't doing anything spiritual. It's just from insects. Not surprising considering this seance was done in a garage that seemed less than insect proof. No wonder the candle crackled. So often, a simple non-spiritual answer works just fine. Why do we have to turn it into something different?

Once I was given the most extraordinary ouija board antique black laquered finish and inlaid with mother of pearl,quite the most beautiful one I had ever seen and really old .After I played with it all the lights in my house went off but not the tv . I was too scared to get up and turn them back on so I stayed till my roommate came home and switched the lights back on. Actually, orbs are not demons. Although Ouija boards CAN summon demons, that is not always the case, and I don't think it is in this case either. And the grandmother being dead is actually mandatory for a seance.

In my own personal experience, doing something for protection is necessary. Whether it is calling on Jesus (although I think that is rather contradictory--seances and Ouija boards are EXTREMELY anti-Christian, but whatever) or casting a protection spell (for all the Pagans and Wiccans out there!). Otherwise, you don't know what you're summoning, and if it'll stay.

Breaking the circle can cause some spirit interraction to completely fail, once its broken the medium is released from possession (if they were).
