Another easier way is to get the cloning cheat code, clone your pokémon with the item and you have 2 items and Pokémon.

I think it only works if it stops at 7.5 or 7.75 EXACTLY(not like 7.8)(It doesn't work after 7.75)! I tried this and now have 2 Rayquazas, Palkias, Dialgas, and basically every other good Pokemon I have. But, it doesn't work when I stop somewhere other than 7.5 or 7.75!

I think the only way to get a Masterball without trading or cheating is to win the pokemon lotto in Jubilife. The entire ID code has to match though, so you'll have to be extremely lucky.
