I hear it perfectly well, im 26. A bit of a crazy sound. Stimulates your inner ear and has a weird effect inside your head.

I think that all music should be recorded and released with these sort of higher frequencies that supposedly "only kids can hear". Even if you can't actually hear it, it has a physiological effect on your brain and makes the music more High Definition and emotionally powerful. As an example, the Akira blueray japanese track released in 196 khz. Supersonic baby!

I'm 27 and I'm also a very loud drummer who has constant tinnitus (ringing) in his right ear as punishment for playing without proper ear protection. I can just barely hear the frequency, and it is probably about 20hz lower than the constant ringing in my ears. As hearing degrades gradually, I will probably not be able to hear this next year. Drummers, punk rockers and fellow music lovers - please don't be idiots like me. Put on your ear plugs whenever you're exposed to very loud sounds.
