George Wallace was the greatest governor Alabama ever had. I'm only twenty and I'd vote for him today if he were running. The bleeding-hearts have destroyed our country.
True. Some people hate to see things handed to other people that their anscestors stole fair and square.. IF I'd been living in a house for 40 years only to find my self displaced because my family was recently outted for theft/embezzlement/rape/torture/eugenics/genocide charges against the houses former occupants and the domestic help they brought with them -Id be a lil cut too. Their sense of entitlement spans like a maze through out their massive egos.
Wallace was a DixieCrat. Dixiecrats were racist Democrats who refused to change with the civil rights movement. They inevitably became Republican, Racist To The Core!
@willr52 Only someone completely ignorant of history would think that the Democratic party back then, is the same as the Democratic party of today in terms of conservative/racist/nativist ideology. The US political parties essentially swapped ideologies.
@DarthCipient Despite your attack of willr52, the fact remains that Wallace was a Dem. So was Helms, originally. Helms began as a Dem when the Dems supported segregation -- and then switched to Rep party in the 1970s.
@InvestigatorDave No one doubts that Wallace was a Democrat originally, but it was a different era and a much different political party to today's Democratic party.
@DarthCipient I said that Helms was a Dem originally. Of course Wallace was. Always was. Helms changed parties in the 70s. When the dems supported segregation. Are you really calling a period only 40 years ago "a different era"?
@InvestigatorDave Yes, it was a different era. The world changes quickly over time. 40 years ago, men were travelling to the Moon and a Cold War was ongoing. Now, neither are occuring. The world is different now.
so outrageous wow, Fox News is getting so out of control they're becoming pathetically transparent
