Mine doesn't auto detect and i can't seem to find it. According to my iPod my version is 2.2.1 (5H11) , i have no idea what in the hell that means, so any help is muchly appreciated :P lol.

oh, sorry bro, umm i hear that you cant, but i honestly don't see why not, if you are able to download files from the internet, and put them on your desktop, then open itunes and yata yata yata, then there should be NO problemo dude.

hey, if i want to restore my iPod in case i need to send it inot apple, do i just go into iTunes and hit "Restore", and i had to pay for the software upgrade to 2.2.1, so if i restore will i have to pay for that again?, thanks for all your help

no, it keeps all software on your ipod. The only thing that are removed are apps, music, and videos.

hey anto maybe u can help me out... when i got to the second step of QuickPwn (Browse for Firmware) originally nothing was found and i even clicked the browse button and nothing was there. (i had 2.2) so i upgraded to 2.2.1 and now there is something there at that screen but after it starts loading it says Firmware error string in red letters on the bottom. Can u help me? what did i do wrong? how can i fix it? thanks

Um I'm not sure about the mac cause i got Windows and in most cases yes you can restore it.

Oh My God!! Thansk Soooo much!!! I had my ipod jailbroken but my mxtube wasnt working so I restored and I spent all last night figuring out how to get firmware 2.0... I dun know what that is.. Then all the other people didn`t explain jailbreaking well but your video did!!!! Thanks soooo much!! I`m subscribing!! By the way, what would you reccommend for a newly jailbroken ipod touch?
