@Nebraskahusker23 do you have any problems with FSI engine? There are few common problems, but really easy to fix.. Im getting new MKVI GTI at the end of the month :P:P
@MrWolf2212 No problems with the FSI engine so far. Haven't had to replace the cam follower yet either, and when I do, it should be done for free since it's considered a recall. Everything else has been perfectly fine. And you should make a video when you get your new MKVI!
Nice car. I also drive an 07' reflex silver with those rims, lol. I always wondered how the 17'' would look powder coated on that color car. Now I'm wondering if I drop it, will that 4x4 wheel-well status turn into a nice parallel tiny space between the fender and the wheel all the way around. You think? Or would I need the 18'' rims for that?
Looks good man. I'm test driving an 07 GTI tomorrow. 2 Door, candy white, DSG. I drove one a few years ago and I loved it. Here's to hoping I can join the club tomorrow!
@Nebraskahusker23 sweet ride dude but even in for city driving i would still get the 6 speed. getting better performance out of that gti otherwise save 15k and just get a regular golf....but that's my preference..cool ride anyways...
@9Spetsnaz The DSG actually has a better 0-60 time than the manual. I'd like a manual but when I'm using it for driving about a mile to school/work and just light weekend driving, a manual really didn't make sense. Also my sister has to be able to drive it also, another reason we had to go with the auto.
@Nebraskahusker23 why not????? a 6 speed make all the sence to me going to school/work and weekends........unless you can't drive a manual 6 speed car.... then it doesn't make sence too me ..........i don't think you do and if you did u wouldn't say that. had driven auto cars before hate it holding down the brake pedal all the time my foot hurts way tired when trying stick in traffic........down shifting is so much easy.......
@9Spetsnaz Unless you're mentally impaired you should know how to drive a manual. And if you are mentally impaired you shouldn't be driving in the first place. I got an automatic for multiple reasons, none of them need to satisfy you, only me.

Nice I'm liking this car more and more... I saw a black one with black rims, smoked taillights, and tinted(basically murdered out except for the headlights) that looked really stealthy and sick. Can you do a review of it too?

Nice car though but DSG/city traffic or not, I'd still take the 6spd; It's way more fun. You should take care of those curb rashes though ;)
