  • Haha the Icon made it seem like you're going 140. Damn,

  • I love that... Also, the fact that the indicators for 20, 40, 60, 80 etc kind of pop out of the dash when it's off are a cool subtle touch

  • this is music to my ears... beautiful!

  • @metalmaniac622 how does it even look like an impala they are a lot uglier in my opinion

  • for those of you thinking he revved it, he didnt rev anything. thats how the gauges go when you first start it up

  • Fuck man !! Maxima is the best !! I've beaten a Supra , a skyline , a fucked up aurion , Mazda RX8, Holden Commodore!!!! and so many cars with my Maxima 2004 that has no turbo no nothing !! Well wat if update the car ?!! and wat if anyone updates the 2009 and 2010 maxima ?! Love this car !!!

  • damn that sounds beautiful

  • i just noticed but did the steering wheel move by itself?? & also what model type is it, s, sv??

  • I'm not going to rev a cold engine!

  • lol i guess but i didnt mean u had to red line it, jus a few growls so u can get a low end grunt.

  • Eh I'm not a fan of the exhaust...does sound pretty healthy though.

I'm going to get a video up of a '99 BMW Dinan M Roadster with a B&B Triflow exhaust. Now that sounds mean.

  • @05gt5 fail

  • @huflungpu90 ur face is a epic fail....lol

  • Nissan makes great cars. However, nothing compares to driving a BMW ;)

  • Ditto

  • @Boardthesnow09 but nissan doesn't try to, thats what infiniti is for

  • @Boardthesnow09 until they break then your fucked. Hate to say it but BMW has been slipping for a LONG time now

  • @Boardthesnow09 lol- my 91 dose better in the snow then my brother in laws SUV.

  • That sounds great

  • How Much dose this car Cost???????????

  • starts at 32,000!!!.. awesome!..

  • that shits hella cool!!..

  • Comment removed

  • My dads maxima does it. I love it lol idk y but its awesome

  • let me ask a question,

why does every maximas do that at the beginning?

  • not all maximas do that.

  • what exactly are you referring to?

I have a 91 Maxima, you can look at my profile and compare the two star ups?

  • Sorry about your rough day. I've too many of those lately. I LOVED my '86 Maxima. She was great. I think that was the best gen. No other Gen. has talked nor had near the electrics. I did have some issue. Mainly the A/C. Had compressor and clutch replaced at least 5 times. Electric speedo in later years stopped working, all I had were tech/gas/temp/oil. (Aunt has '92 240 with same issue) That 3.0L was the best, had 1 issue, did recall/replaced caps/plugs worked fine. Raced her till her final day.

  • No man, 3rd gen is where its at.

Me? Biased? What you taken' about?

  • @Roushfan5 na 4th gen haha gotta love these cars they dont stop AT all 95 n still running smooth

  • GM's aren't that reliable so you go to one of the most reliable cars on the market and try to put down speed gauges? LAME

  • Okay smarkid, slow your roll. I am not putting down the maxi. All I was doing was stating facts. If you can't see you that you should change your screen name from Smartkid to "Dumbass". I am a fan and previous Nissan owner and I know the quality and flaws of their products. I had my 86' Maxima for 20 years before it was totaled. That said it too had quality issues, but the 3.0L engine always started and outdid itself. So why don't you read what is said before you claim it "LAME".

  • ......Whatever man

  • "Whatever man" that's all you got? A few hours ago you were calling me and what I said "LAME." now its whatever. I thought you'd have something insightful to add, but I guess not. Its Whatever man. Its forgotten.

  • If you MUST know, a rough day at work can really alter someone's mood. I didn;t mean to call you lame or anything wrong, so I'm sorry. I also own a Maxima, a 1995 Maxima. Bought it when it came out and I still have it. I think I can say that it's the greatest car I've ever owned. No problems except for regular maintenance. How about your Maxima?

  • So what? The outside looks nothing like any GM product I have seen. Besides no GM product can HOPE to compare to a Maxima.

  • VQ power!

  • damn my 03 sounds more quiet at start?

  • its louder than the older Maxima's.

  • the engine was cold

  • Its not as loud though

  • yea i kno....

  • doesnt matter its still a nice car!

  • Not louder then my Maxima. Have you heard a 3rd gen start up?

  • Sounds similar to an infiniti j30 starting up doesn't it? I know the 4th gen sounds similar to a gs300 lexus starting up.

  • @Tgrovez yeah it did sound like the j30t my uncle has that car and when you start it up it goes voom voom voom and when you take off you can here this noise that sounds great (comes from muffler i think)

  • Clean Needle sweep, it's like choreography in the gauge cluster...everything's on cue.

  • I know that the Australian Maxima's do, but the American ones look and sound like they have a way different type of engine, one that has more horsepower.

  • are there any videos of the australian maximas?

  • nevermind, i went on the nissan site for Australia...you maxima is actually based on a more flagship model in japan (i believe its the President) in america we get a sportier car

  • Yeah, that'd be right. Most models of Australian cars are based on Japanese releases. I can tell the gears are different as well compared to the American release, cause they get the Drive mode, which keep the same revs no matter what gear it is, and Sport mode. (from watching the American Nissan Maxima vids). Australia has the standard gearbox and drivetrain which change the revs with each gear change. Its slower compared to the other 2 modes...

  • i bet yours is roomier though

  • Yeah, It's got alot of that. It's fairly long and low too, cause every time we go up a driveway, we scratch the tailend cause of the height off the ground

  • same type of engine, but not exactly the same one...my g35 sedan (07 & 08 model) has the 350z engine..the maxima has a 290hp engine i believe but its still a nissan vq engine... doesnt the maxima seem a bit too big though? i have one and i feel like its a massive truck when im accelerating

  • To be 100% honest, the car feels like a boat. It's huge. barely fits in the garage. BUT, for that big of a car it handles wells.

  • yeah it handles well but if it were my only car i would be a bit disappointed. the feeling is just so different from my g35...i like the heavier steering feel of the g35, the 09 maxima's steering is almost as light as my 95 maxima, and i hate that car's steering because its so light that curvy roads are like guess work

  • yeah the steering is VERY light, kinda gotta get used to it otherwise like you said its alot of guess work hitting corners

  • Thats a shame, My 91 feels so nimble. Our Alitmia is the one that feels like a boat after I started driving my Maxima again. Wouldn't give up my 91 for the world.

  • Is it broken in yet? Do you have the sport model?

  • Nissan has really brought the Infiniti side down to the Nissans. Use to love to see the M's start this way didnt know the maxima does it also niceeeee.

  • hot.

  • sexy
