Super Sentai's actors and actresses are always cooler and cuter then Power Ranger's. So are the opening. SS openings are always good. PR's are similar so they're boring. Jazz, rock,...they make me feel sick.

If you look at the credits they always say where the footage comes from and who makes it. Toei took the rights to make pr from disney because disney didnt want to make pr. Toei WANTS power rangers. How the heck is RPM better than Go-onger lol? The intro music is your typical rock music, trying to make the series look all tough and sh!t. This is why Disney's PR fails. The characters are dull and wooden, and there are no comedy elements. You can't compete with the original, but I guess some PR fans wouldn't know that.

Go-On all the way. Comparing openings is good an all and all Power Rangers proves with this season is they can pay some one to repeat "Power Ranger RPM. Get In Gear." and I think after watching Go-On I was really sad to see that the Engines in RPM were lifeless, but maybe it's just me?

Changing the Rider's names are a good move. Camo is much better than Verde. Torque is more cool than Zolda (so what do you want? Kamen Rider GREEN?) Wrath is more menacing than Odin. Need I say more?

Really? What can you call Go-Onger's slapstick comedy, serious??? Disney Power Rangers suck; RPM is exception. Eddie Guizelan (its 1st producer) had a vision to make a Disney Power Rangers show for older audiences and he worked so hard in making the story. According to interviews, he had conflict with Disney bosses in terms of budget and even the tone of the series. Too bad he was fired.
He was later replaced by Judd Lynn, one of the old-school writers during the Saban era Power Rangers. He was an amazing writer because he imposes not only making Power Rangers close to Sentai but putting some originality in it.
Lynn chose to base the sixth season (Power Rangers in Space) of the series in space as opposed to the video game themes of the Super Sentai source material, it took its suits and mecha from (Denji Sentai Megaranger). The stabs at more intense originality in PR led to a greater effort in all American Ranger fight scenes, original villains, and overall much darker content than seen in previous incarnations.
Anyway, not all Power Rangers are campy. Power Rangers turned dark and serious at the the start of Power Rangers in Space. My all time favorite was Time Force due to its darker and mature tone and its storyline stuck close to the original Timeranger. Actually, Judd Lynn wanted to make it more time-travel themed than Timeranger but Jonathan Tzachor (its executive producer until Wild Force) insisted that Time Force should be close to its Sentai counterpart. That's why Judd Lynn left.
When it comes with KRDK, I'LL NEVER EVER FORGIVE YOU. Saying it as corny is like your accusing the Showa Riders are corny. And even Kuuga, Agito, Faiz, and Blade are even corny. It's like your saying that lame broken window jokes and turn back later emotions (Ryuki) is far more better than motivating themes (KRDK, the Showa Riders, Kuuga, Agito, Faiz. Blade).

She even ruthlessly attacked Terra Venture in the finale. But Leo survived from death when he uses his Battlizer in its full potential.
In Wild Force, Zen-Aku shows BLOOD. RED FREAKIN' BLOOD. And even Master Org told Cole/Red Lion Ranger a tragic tale about he murdered his parents by saying, "They begged for mercy and I gave it to them. I delighted their agony and ended their suffering!"
They'll stop making Power Rangers episodes until they can get their hands on whatever that's available from Shinkenger or whatever Sentai that's supposed to succeed them.

According to my interview with Steve Wang through kamenconnection. com, Den-O was "too kiddie" for his taste. He was not a fan of the comedy of the show.

Anyway, not only KRDK but the also the Showa era Riders and even Kuuga and Agito; that was Shotaro Ishinomori's original vision for the KR franchise: good guy beats the bad guy and facing your fears and be strong no matter what. Kuuga fights against the villainous Grongi. Kamen Rider 1 & 2 fights against Shocker. V3 fights against Destron. Kamen Rider Black fights against Gorgom and even his brother Shadowmoon. Black RX fights against Crisis Empire.

i go for go-onger bcos i see it better than rpm...yes rpm had a dark story but it only shows that it has no connection to other power rangers and it also shows as the final end of disney era rangers...while go-onger still continues and even had a team up with shinkenger so cool!

How the heck is RPM better than Go-onger lol? The intro music is your typical rock music, trying to make the series look all tough and sh!t. This is why Disney's PR fails. The characters are dull and wooden, and there are no comedy elements. You can't compete with the original, but I guess some PR fans wouldn't know that.

i sort have to agree, but there were things that i didnt like, if u watched go onger its so much better, i think the rangers in go onger were much better then rpm's a big comparison is go on gold and silver comparing to the gold and silver in rpm, the originals were more calm at times, but with the american ones they were trying to be funny and i think they didnt do so well, also the voices for the ministers kinda screwed with me because they made them sound like idiots

I don't know, I like both, as a person who've seen alot of slapstick comedy I like Go-ongers though it toook me awhile for it to click with me, Rpm it really dark so I like those kind of story. but if I had to choose I would go with Go-ongers for two reasons:
1. Miu's legs (she's hot)
2. Bear-V (She is just too damn adorable)

I'm not "grown" man. But even if I was, What's the problem? People who are 20+ still watch Sentai. I enjoy Sentai, Go-Onger was just not that enjoyable into half way in. RPM did better, by not making there story line kiddy friendly. Like I said, all you have is footage. Power Rangers comes out a year after the previous Sentai, So Some Action scenes will be Dubbed over, just like Animes. It's Normal, Any Live Action would do this.

Eddie Guizelan (its 1st producer) had a vision to make a Disney Power Rangers show for older audiences and he worked so hard in making the story. According to interviews, he had conflict with Disney bosses in terms of budget and even the tone of the series. Too bad he was fired.

He was later replaced by Judd Lynn, one of the old-school writers during the Saban era Power Rangers. He was an amazing writer because he imposes not only making Power Rangers close to Sentai but putting some originality in it.

Lynn chose to base the sixth season (Power Rangers in Space) of the series in space as opposed to the video game themes of the Super Sentai source material, it took its suits and mecha from (Denji Sentai Megaranger). The stabs at more intense originality in PR led to a greater effort in all American Ranger fight scenes, original villains, and overall much darker content than seen in previous incarnations.

Anyway, not all Power Rangers are campy. Power Rangers turned dark and serious at the the start of Power Rangers in Space. My all time favorite was Time Force due to its darker and mature tone and its storyline stuck close to the original Timeranger. Actually, Judd Lynn wanted to make it more time-travel themed than Timeranger but Jonathan Tzachor (its executive producer until Wild Force) insisted that Time Force should be close to its Sentai counterpart. That's why Judd Lynn left.

Of course someone dies in Power Rangers (the Saban era). In Lost Galaxy, Kendrix sacrificed her life to save her fellow rangers; she is the first Power Ranger to die. Even w/o blood, everybody was shocked. The main villain Trakeena has started to kill off every villain in the series when her father Scorpius died. She even ruthlessly attacked Terra Venture in the finale. But Leo survived from death when he uses his Battlizer in its full potential.

FAIL. Originally, Kamen Rider is about a masked hero who saves the world and not a man or any man who fights and dies just for a single wish like in Ryuki. I'm not saying that KRDK is better than all the Kamen Rider shows; it's better than Ryuki. But it was equal to the Showa era Riders and even Kuuga, Agito, Faiz and Blade because of its motivating themes. And most of the solid Kamen Rider shows are always good vs. evil so the hero is also feeling sorrow and pain. Ryuki was based on HIGHLANDER

Anyway, not only KRDK but the also the Showa era Riders and even Kuuga and Agito; that was Shotaro Ishinomori's original vision for the KR franchise: good guy beats the bad guy and facing your fears and be strong no matter what. Kuuga fights against the villainous Grongi. Kamen Rider 1 & 2 fights against Shocker. V3 fights against Destron. Kamen Rider Black fights against Gorgom and even his brother Shadowmoon. Black RX fights against Crisis Empire.
And Decade? It's also good vs. evil.

And so does Ryuki being bland since Highlander storylines are overrated and unoriginal. And that storyline won't work on American TV. In DK's case, the first 16 episodes has the best writing and in the second half it went downhill; it was evident that the series is short in budget. It seems that you Heisei being the standard.
