Try to not use tabs, they don't make you really understand notes and time, Try to hear and play it slowly... really, you will learn 100 times better things!

this doesnt help me at all i cant see which fingers hes using and which strings he has them one cus it goes to fast slash is a good guitarst one of the best but this lesson sucked dick

keep pausing essentially every note on the slow version of it, figure out where to put your finger. Repeat until you learn the entire thing.

thats pretty much the only way to get anything out of this

Now that you mention it, yeah, I recognize it, but he didn' do it right, Slash palm mutes some of the notes, and he plays it faster

nope. He doesnt mute any there... Its the part leading to the climax (this thing's lesson 5) of his 3rd solo in sweet child o mine

yeah i noticed that too....he probly wanted to make the notes more audible....kinda like when you learn somethin....you don't play it with the same feeling as the original until you get comfortable with it....know what i mean?
