Nice vid and lesson but I have a minor sort of question/point concerning the bend bit, you pull and I'm sure Mr May would push? Tell me if I'm right or wrong lol, I really hope I am because I just cannot pull the string's like that, I exclusively push them unless it's the low E, I have to then. On the intro to purple haze for example, I'm sure that's a pull but I push. I know there's no right or wrong...just asking my friend.

What gauge strings do you use/prefer.

I don't have an AC30 but my VoX valvetronix has the AC30 modelling preset... not sure how it compares with the real thing though. You have my dream setup... red spesh and ac30s.

oh cool, I use 8s too always have for 15ish years now. I was going to go up recently due to losing all sound on the B and E string when bending beyond a semi note high up the neck. Then I realised my action needed raising on that side which cured it. I never liked using 10s before som I'll stick with the 8.
