Yes, It's like having an overdrive gear. You can gear the bike way down-once you put in the shift drum- if you want more torque. (and have about the same top speed as stock)

most people get the 110 cuz its a pit bike and the kx 100 is for racing and the 110 is just funner to ride

The 4th gear shift drum was around $75. Get the "quick shift" one, not the OE Kawasaki brand. The Kitaco is the one I got. It works great! Thanks for watching.

No more power, just adds 4th gear on top of 3rd gear, (like over-drive, if you will). The "quick shift" just allows less movement on the shift lever for a better feel.
