The group is called Kalafina, and the song is "Magia." It's one of several groups associated with the extraordinary Yuki Kajiiura, a Japanese composer. She's done a ton of anime music, and it's all incredible. @Ladeand hmm first of all, i think its lost its "creepiness". its more like "classic trance" if i can say so myself. and then as the music suggest, it should emphasize the vocal and background instrument as a "harmony", but TAM record it so it would emphasize the violin instead, defeat all the purpose of the music. when he actually didnt cover THAT MUCH of the actual music, and turned out to be a bit annoying. that is one. i got few other complains but those are not for TAM, its for the vocal

@nugrahadivgi I can agree with the violin part sticking out too much. Think most of the violin parts that TAM plays is the elec guitar in the original song? (I haven't heard the original for a long time so I could be wrong). And yes, it's not as "creepy" but then again I remember telling myself that the creepiness was more due to the animation than the song itself.... again, haven't heard original in a while so can't say much more.
