does anyone think its possible to do the duck walk with one leg . i am missing my leg below the knee but i have perfect ballence on my right. i have been playing acdc on guitar for over 8 years and it dosent feel right not doing the dck walk

I hate to sound like a troll, but he is using the wrong leg. When you play the guitar when you're right handed, kicking with your right leg will knock it out of place and cause you to mess up

The only reason either of them use their left foot is because that happens to be their dominant foot, or they might just be more comfortable using that foot.

Actually I think you lift up the foot that isn't dominant. It's like the guitar, you'd expect a right handed person to use his right hand on the fret board (if you didn't know anything about guitars, of course) but apparently not.

thats completely wrong: you have to go down lower....your other knee is not stretched...the only leg/knee that must be bend is the one in the back that "up-and-down"-knee must be stretched...;)

Umm, no, that is called the duck walk. And this moved wasn't created by Chuck Berry, it was created by T-Bone Walker. Chuck Berry's use of it simply made it more popular. Along with other performers like Angus Young. Nice try.

Anyone I have ever talked to has called this the duck walk. I mean you can even search it on the internet and it will describe the move as a "one leg hop" codenamed the duck walk. A lot of the places I've read about it say that the duck walk was coined by the media of the time. So if the media back then was anything like it is oday I can see how that got messed up. :P

Angus has said Chuck Berry is one of his biggest influences, it's not like he was completely ripping him off or anything. But Berry did do it far before Angus, but Angus took the basic idea, speeded it up, and made it more intense, sort of made the move his own.
