It's enough to make you sick inside. A young bright star put out by the do gooders. They are all in it together...prosecutors, judges, cops, informants...prisons, guards....third largest growth industry in the US.  so sick.

You can't speak because you are from the UK. If your country incarcerated like ours you would probably have family in prison. The bad areas here are so bad you cannot walk down the street. Police are afraid to go to some areas because the gangsters have RPGs and machine guns.

The demand for addictive drugs is completely inelastic. Therefore gangsters will always be rich and there will always be people going to jail. Because gangsters get rich the streets get tougher. They get bigger guns!

Yes! There are areas in los angeles where the police will not go because they are outgunned. The gangs in these areas have RPGs automatic rifles and hand grenades. They police their own communities along with dealing drugs.

When you have millions even billions of dollars you can buy whatever you want. It isn't that hard to locate RPGs and automatic rifles!

It will never end! The demand for addictive drugs is PURELY INELASTIC! THIS MEANS IF HEROIN COSTS 500$ A GRAM THERE WILL BE NO DROP IN DEMAND JUST HIGHER PROFITS FOR DEALERS.

Where there is profit there will be a supply even if the gangs have to kill everyone! More gangs= more prisons= more high paid prison guards.

20% of prison guards in california earn over 100,000$ a year

the highest paid guard earned 252,000$ last year!
