Letterman spiazza Benigni nominando Costanzo perché un paio d'anni prima ciccio baffo era stato ospitato allo show come "il David Letterman italiano" (va beh...)....una delle poche volte (io sinceramente non l'ho mai visto altre volte) in cui si è usato il traduttore.

Fece pure battuta bella quando Letterman gli chiese perché (visto che erano colleghi per tipo di show) non indossasse anche lui la cravatta.... e Costanzo rispose "perché non ho il collo!"

Watch the Letterman interview with Charles Grodin 2006 Part 2, he was very clear (and very funny!) on this point. About the Americans...
