  • 3 Brits -its always good to hear- collectively-very cool THANKS!

Yea -I agree Richard Thompson would certainly add !

  • Awesome!!

  • I was there down in front (am I that bald guy at the lower right at 0:06?) and Nick said that he was suffering from a major respiratory infection and could barely sing - he was already changing keys and hitting clams during his solo set.

  • The Jesus of Cool and His Apostles!

  • Very cool! What a trio! Only Paul, John and George could top this.

  • That was way too fun! I agree that I would be happy hearing this trio sing the phone book or just talk it up. Cute old boogers and all three heart throbs of my youth not to mention all the great tunes they penned individually.

  • elvis and nick and back up? that is some serious back up

  • Bloody brilliant!

  • Thanks for putting this up! Really love it.

  • OK, it wasn't perfect. I still loved it. Hell, I'd pay good money to see these three sing the phone book!

  • wow......they need to do more together badly..i smell super duper group. ha

  • yeah why wasn't I at this show

  • Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello and Robyn Hitchcock? Too much coolness for one stage at one time.

If Billy Bragg was there, the stage would have exploded.

  • @mosquitobight

I might suggest Richard Thompson before Billy but all would be great.

  • I was at this terrific show. Hitchcock did a tremendous solo acoustic set..he is a great storyteller, songwriter, and troublemaker. Then Lowe played, and it all sounded great. Then they played a few songs together, and Hitchcock really does have a wonderful harmony voice. Elvis came out and they did these songs. I love Elvis C, but they had obviously not worked out the harmonies and it showed.

3 very talented guys just having fun and playing some great music.

    Thanks for putting this up!

  • Why do 3 excellent singer songwriters do 2 covers of other people's songs.

  • why not?

  • wow, this is awesome! What I wouldn't give to see these guys together live!

  • Great performers!

  • To be honest, most of the reason "If I Fell" was out of harmony was because of Robyn Hitchcock. I saw him and Nick Lowe do a duet of it in LA at the El Rey, and this version trumps it cause Elivs keeps it steady.

    Still a great show, though.

  • If that's true than Elvis learned the harmony between the 2 shows. Robyn is singing the melody correctly. It is Elvis who blew it.

  • Anyone, Elvis or Robyn can have an off night.

  • lighten up, jerk.

  • Love Elvis Costello, but how could he be so off on the harmony to this classic song???

  • No kidding. Some of those notes had no business in there. Mystery Trais was not really strong either. But If I Fell is all about beautiful melody and gorgeous harmony. If you can't do it...Let It Be!!

  • Wow! Great performance! Thanks for posting!

  • Elvis was probably ready to start -- "Romeo was restless. . . oh. You mean THAT Mystery Train."

  • You're thinking of "Mystery Dance".

  • The one guy who HAS"nt sold Millions and Millions of records and tickets , is leading the trio and setting the pase!

  • Oh man---I saw Robyn and Nick last Sat at the Fillmore, but this must have been amazing...

  • Very nice post

Elvis Costello was at this? I knew Robyn was playing with Nick Lowe (caught the Robyn special yesterday on Sundance) but Elvis?

  • it was a fantastic show.

  • I was at the concert - how great to see the three of them again.

  • That N95 takes some pretty wicked video.
