From what I remember when I read all of those Homeworld Wikia articles was that the dust wars was set before the exile, but it may of been the unbound war I was thinking about, this may be set in after Homeworld 3 Sands of Time... maybe.

i really hate the fact that you have to have a squadron and it doesn't allow you to do formations which stopped me from enjoying this game as i felt forced to do what they wanted and not what i wanted. limit caps on how many enemy ships u can take over and shit.. psh they ruined homeworld 2 literally.

Sequels, in their drive for innovation, have a tendency to make changes that dissatisfy many. I thought it was a fine game, and i still love it. I dont mind squadrons much, but its understandable.

yep yep! homeworld 1 the best... if they ever make a 3 they should just stick with the type of gameplay one had... the freedom it gave too.

homeworld 2 isnt a let down- the stock version yes- but the FX version- which brings back all the races from homeworld 1 , into homeworld 2 makes very high rated above them

I concurr...there is just something about them that makes it look kool...I would like to see a return of that carrier though...maybe hype it up...make it bigger and have it as a super carrier or something like that...super battlecarrier!

The Super Carrier the Vaygr are seen using does make it into the final version of HW2. It was scaled up, recoloured and set adrift in one of the junkyard levels.
