What card do you use for recording video? I've got a verbatim clas 10, 32gb and it seems to be not fast enough :(

@SheltaPavee Fast enough for what? I've got a PNY class 10 and have had no problems. I've shot videos of 9-10 minutes duration - a car journey - and it was fine.

YOu have difficulty keeping that little kid in focus as he runs towards you. What would you say is the problem there?

Maybe you are not experienced with manually tracking focus, or maybe using too large of an aperture or is it a failing of the 600d? Maybe in bright light it is too difficult to see image on screen to track focus accurately?

Next time try 60fps and then bring it down in post. When filmimg out on the beach like this your -digital- camera also needs an nd filter. (a must). Great video btw

@alexnikotyn Thanks. I'm glad you like it. The maximum time per file remains 29 minutes and 59 seconds or 4GB, whichever happens first.

@alexnikotyn I've got a 600D and, as long as you have a big enough and fast enough SD card, you can capture 30 minutes of 1080P video. The format is H264 and Quicktime Player reports the bitrate at 46mbits, which is really quite high. Many professional cameras only record 50mbits.

Pues lo que menos me gustó del resultado fue que la imagen quedó muy trepidada. Entre el viento, la poca experiencia y la falta de estabilizador en el objetivo, era realmente difícil mantener unas tomas estables.

La primera toma la estabilicé posteriormente con After Effects y el resto lo intenté disimular reduciendo la velocidad de 50 fps a 25.

@moritz6370 Thanks a lot !. You can choose the 600D or 550D. The quality is the same because the sensor is the same in both cameras, but i chose the 600D for the rotating lcd. Very useful

This effect is called depth of field. I focus manually the object and fix the aperture of the lens in f1.8 creating blurry background.
