My First Paranormal Experience?

Sorry for multiple posts, but I had no fear on the second story. I was more angry that something attempted to spook me. I was just out for payback, because when your 9 you can do nothing, and I never forgot the first time. I wish I could had confronted whatever it was. Nothing could get into this house. The locks were heavy duty. I knew whatever it was up there was not a person. Funny being more angry then spooked. I guess I have a debt to settle! LOL! Ken

2nd.. Was studing for brokers exam in our office back in 1990, 4 am, snow storm outside. The office was a house, converted. A priest had died upstairs in the 1960's living there. 4 am quiet and heavy snow, and I was in a back room all lights out but one reading. Someone started pacing upstairs back and forth. It was footsteps I knew the sound. Slowly I got up, took the ice pick and crept up, it stopped. Nothing when I put lights on. I was angry, because of being a kid and scarred it was payback!

Anyway it was pitch dark, the parents rushed in, checked the house and closet. No weight was on the bed when this happend as if someone leaning, because they would have to lean to reach, but no one was there to do it anyway, but the point is, I was wide awake, and this poke was hard. I will never forget it. Almost a unwelcome get out. I slept with my back against the wall out of habbit into adulthood.. lol. It never happened again. I guess I scared the hell out of what ever did it, yelling.

I was about 9, and we moved into a home once occupied by a older woman who passed away there. I remember the first few weeks. One night I was poked right in the middle of the back and I woke, not knowing what happened. I went to sleep, the next night again the same thing, my front against the wall. Scared me, so still pretending to sleep i turned around slow finally, and nothing. Eventually I fell asleep. 3rd night, I stayed up, about 12am again, poked, im wide away.. all hell broke loose...

One theory about these types of events is that the image is a sort of residue of past events; a reflection of something that happened, that repeats over time. Often though what you see, does not interact with the present; so this is a very interesting story. There must be something to spirts, as I had two odd situations in the past, that makes me also believe their is some interaction with past events, and or people. Thanks for sharing.

I believe your first sentence you are speaking of what is known as a residual haunting, like a movie from the past playing over and over. At this time I can't think of what it's called if the spirit interacts with you..I'm drawing a blank here on that one...lol. You say you've had two odd situations, maybe you can share them?

Warbirdlll, I am very happy that you shared this video with the world. Something similar like that happened to me, except it was my grandmother. There is a theory that young children are more able to see spirits than adults because of the fact that they are more 'sensitive' than adults.

I believe what you are saying is true. I believe it with my heart and soul. You are not crazy, and neither am I. I understand how you were scared to go to Lou. I was scared to go near my grandmother.

I ask myself now, why was I so scared though? I certainly didn't fear him in life.

I think the theory goes that children are more receptive as they have not had the chance to have their minds closed up like we do as adults. That may not be a good example of what I'm trying to say here but I'm sure you get what I'm saying as you've pretty well said the same thing...lol

maybe you were scared cause he passed away and you were afraid to go near him and when said about reaching his arm out did u mean he wanted to hold your hand or pick you up just imagine that i am a ghost beliver when people talked about it but my question is is there a spirit when you feel something is around you ?

I'm sure I was scared as I knew he was gone and the fact that I could see his chair behind him while looking through him. He didn't reach out with one hand he reached out with both like he wanted to pick me up.

If I understand your last line you're asking if it means there's a spirit around you if you feel something...the answer to that would be, not necessarily. In doing paranormal research now, I've found that a lot of what we believe to be haunting or spirits generally have a logical explanation.

i tend to get sent sometimes tobacco or perfume then i sometimes hear a voice of a sound then i get a sighting it always works this way by many ive spoken to have different ways of connections .
