they need to get a new cello that doesn't have a horrible nasal sound, or change amp settings, or get a better pickup a mic
They are good cellist i will give that with a good idea, but the nasally cello gets annoying, as if it needs a new string.
High price cello doenst always equal great tone, one cello brand i find that is very agreeable to the amp is an englehart, not to bad tone either. DO NOT EVER USE STEEL CORE STRINGS ON A CELLO WITH A PICKUP MIC!!! Use Gut core or maybe use perlon synt.

i think it is more the camera that stunk. I dont think you can judge their instruments and mics based on this recording.

@CrazyNelliboo In all fairness, it's not that hard what they're doing. It's more just a feel than anything else. They're just playing heavy barred 5ths, with a melody over it.
