GMA Says Goodbye To OLTL (1/9/12)

Todd and Blair are only going to be on for 2 weeks. They filmed for 2 days and it will be spread out over 2 weeks. KA signed a 4 year contract to stay on GH. Have not heard anything about John McBain. He will be appearing the in Feb. some time and Blair and Todd will be on the week of 2/27 and Starr will be on the week of 2/20.

I will definitley miss this show... It really does feel like the end of an era. I really don't understand why ABC would decide to cancel this show & put in its place another show about reinventing yourself. I mean don't we have enough reality shows like that? smh

I wish there was some way that we could bring back this soap.

I am so glad that we have youtube and the ppl who love OLTL as much as i do. Altleast we still have these videos that were posted. i will be watching the episodes that missed through the years while working, school etc . I cant believe Its really over. smh ..

Soap actors and crew do so much more work, quality work, than almost all others in the entertainment industry COMBINED. Of course they should have respect, and yet, they get the least. That is very sad.

I can't believe this! I've been watching this show since I was 7 years old, and now I'm 17. I might of been too young to watch it, but, once I started I couldn't stop. I wanted o see what would happen on the next episode, and then the next episode and so on! ugh! So sad that such a great show is coming to an old. I mean, we all free up watching this show, we don't ever want it to end! :(

I grew up with OLTL & AMC & GH but especially OLTL was ny favorite. I remember when i was sick or stayed home from school back in the day it was game show in the morning and the ABC soaps in the afternoon, lol that was back when you only had the 3 networks and PBS of u lived out in the country as we did back in 70's & 80's . Sad to see an era come to a close.

I grew up watchin and remember looking over my moms shoulder while she was getting ready for work. I am 43, & I have been a fan my entire life.. Grandma, mom and I. Soo sad. The suits at abc and their " self help/cooking/healthy lose weight " bullshyyyt on in amc & oltl spots can all crash and burn. I dont watch & hope u guys wont! Cherish GH while u can, its next!

This is just so sad and unfair. I truly hate ABC for doing this. I've been watching all my life (I'm 30), and it was passed down to me from my mom, who got it from her mom. My sister and I would tape it every day and watch it after school. I wanted to pass it on to my kids one day. My kids will never know what a soap opera is.

These characters are like family to me, and it feels like I'm standing next to their death bed with some exec about to pull the plug. They are literally killing my family.

Over 20yrs. of my life will be over as of 3pm on friday. I remember Enterna, the many faces of viki, Todd's arrival his marraiges to Blair and tea'. Jessica and Starr growing up and becoming mothers. Going back in time. I miss Clint and Viki, Todd, Starr, Jack, Sam and Dani Manning along with Destiny and Shaun. I miss Blair and Tea' Dorian and David. I will not miss Rex and gigi and natalie. Thanks for uploading this. I can't help but be disappointed that there was no Robert S. Woods or Hillary B. Smith! I am also irritated with the lack of time that was given and that stupid logo!!! I swear, will we loyal viewers ever be given decent respect? We have too long just accepted our fate as fans and allowed TIIC to run over us.
