Really nice vid mate, you guys seem to have a lot of groupers where you guys are, in Australia its all banned to spear them

there is two species which are totally banned, the warsaw and the nassau grouper

they have recently enacted a seasonal closure on the other grouper when they are spawning

it's irritating because it is during the time in the year when they are are shallow enough to freedive. Perhaps in the long run it will be a good thing, but it kind of sucks the last couple times I have been out passing up shooting nice groupers.

Big school but little fish, there are schools like that of the larger mangroves, but I have only found them once, average fish was like 4-5 pounds
