I bought buckyballs but now the dust goes all over my hands and the coating is coming off the balls, they arent really "accurate" i dont know how to describe it. Will this happen with the cubes?

@GamerDownUnder Grinding them together like a stress ball can make the plating wear off faster. This is the case with similar products as well. As for "accuracy", are you referring to how they line up? Remember that magnets have two poles and if they aren't lined up correctly they will repel each other.

You have to be careful with neodymiums. It's possible to shatter them because of their powerful attraction to each other (depends on the strength of the individual magnets, of course), and if they do, or the chrome coating breaks, the rare earth material inside is a powdery substance that tends to get everywhere.
