  • sala galla mari janda .. dikhanda ta hain nahi kuj ...

  • I remember when Nutn only had 10 minutes to work with. amazing how far TNP has come. I was subscriber 8200 or something like that.

  • przez 10 min. typ pokazał tylko latarkę...

  • Veri, you gotta chill out with the venemous comments. Comment trolls are going to troll no matter what. By responding the way you do sometimes, I think you put yourself at their level. I'm a huge fan of the project, but the thats one thing that really turns me off when I see it. Ignore them. Take the high road.

  • Haha funny how he is so secretive about sharing how he got ahold of the vest... He just retired and admitted he was a KC135 Tanker Pilot for the last 20 years.

  • @spikesonthebrain LOL we were surprised that nobody call us out on that! :D -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Nutn said a lot of info about his job in the past years, so if you had the ears to hear it the AirForce background wasn't a surprise. (in a vid we can see his family name too... ;) )

    -hunter

  • I never saw this vid on the channel even going down to the beginning... Glad I found it!

  • @armedtetrapod it just came out lol

  • @armedtetrapod sry. I thought it just came out. like you I too could not find it. thought it was new cuz Ive never seen it

  • Did they really use polyester? That stuff will melt in a fire and stick to skin. Back in my navy days, they did not allow the officers and chiefs to wear their polyester khaki uniforms on ship. The polyester uniforms could only be used for shore duty.

  • How about a review of the US Air Force Survival Knife? I remember alot of soldiers carrying them in Iraq and Afghanistan. Small enough to carry on the TA-50, big enough to do some real damage in a fight. Good steel (1095), yet cheap enough at $25 at the PX so that it can be replaced if lost or destroyed.

  • Can you do more military survival stuff? To many gun vids lately

  • My uncle used to pack the live support stuff for pilots. After he did that he went through multiple levels of survival training, and became a survival instructor.

  • I just found this series and thank you very much for taking the time showing us what is inside. I found interesting the lack of a gps.

Also it appears the USAF is looking at eliminating the vest altogether.

  • Cool vest.

  • I couldn't finish this video. 10 minutes of mostly talking can get pretty dragging. You might want to re-edit a shorter version for this.

  • @ironian Your one video has less than 200 views in 5 years...thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy

    You're welcome.

  • @nutnfancy Haha, it's not like you get a dollar per view.

  • @gnarkillkicksass We don't even average a brain cell per view...as evidenced by your response. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy

ZING! I love your one-liners lolol.

  • @nutnfancy i believe that if you are of a person who would like to take the occupation of usaf survivals (i am a S.E.R.E. person myself), you will find this useful and entertaining.

btw, i went to the cite and did not find it the same. are you sure nut remembered the right site?

  • in shtf i would take a aa cuz they are more common to find

  • pls do more demo and less talking..

  • boring, talk too much, demo less

  • anyone ever heard of the rescue of BAT 21? look that up thats one hell of a story

  • what branch of the military is this guy from?

  • @darkelf0172 Retired USAF pilot. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Cool, but....tooo long.

    Became boring

  • I can't give you a thumb up :(

  • 7:10 to 10:03 on a flashlight????????

  • Don't forget the NAVs, EWOs, WSOs, Boomers, Engs, Linguists, Radio Operators, Loadmasters, etc...

    Great review series.

  • To many times LS is taken for granted. People assume that LS has an easy job. Not true, our first and foremost concern is the well-being of the crewmember. Amn and NCO’s alike work side-by-side to do whatever it takes to get the job done. That is who I am. Sounds like the LS “Protection Equipment Shop” is a good one there on your end. Good Hunting "Sir" The Man this time not the rank.

  • @Xterra64 Very good and I am glad we came to an understanding. I am totally on board with the difficulty of the LS job and we always appreciate our guys. We did an evasion exercise in Sept and had a blast but I know how much work it is to put it all together. As I retire I am sad to to leave the "family" behind. Thanks for your service too, peace

  • @nutnfancy I have been looking for this, or something like this video for a long time.

I had the "Mark from Michigan" Video tapes, from the 90's, that were good for a garrison set up, they have long been ruined.

    This is top shelf stuff.

Perhaps NutNFancy can do different set ups per role to be used. Garrison, Assault, Attack, Recon, Batt. Com. ect.

    Thanks Troop.

    Love your posts.

Reminds me of Tact. Com., Falls Church Va.

  • You have me totally wrong. Seems you have thin skin. The Sir is for the rank not the person.

  • @Xterra64 I can take warranted criticism handily and have for years here in YT. It is a brutal environment and yet I thrive. However when faced with AE-style of commentary I reserve the right to set the record straight at any time. Here you portrayed me as over-stepping, prick Lt Col insensitive to my enlisted ranks and their work load. That assertion will not stand and like most negative things here about me in YT, is based totally on fantasy and self-projective viewpoints of the critic.

  • @Xterra64 Not to say there aren't some prick officers out there; have met many and squared off with an equal number. Ask my unit members, I have a rep for this. Some pilots are the same way as well. But don't broad stroke it and condemn the ranks resorting to the old tired "ABUs vs the Flighsuits" cultural thing. I have never played that game and don't let it play here in TNP. It's all one team, leave the prejudices aside. Dishwasher, cook, pilot, gunner, tank driver, pilot...all one team.

  • Not jealous, just tired of old Armchair Pilots with there nose in the clouds. Think they know everything. 21 yr retiree on this end and yes I do know something about the OI's, AFI's and how Life Support Units are supposed to run. Been there done that, paid my dues!

  • @Xterra64 Fair enough then but I think you have me wrong as well. You assume I'm some demanding LC waltzing into LIfe Support & walking off w equipment. It didn't go that way at all. Our LS Chief is my friend and a TNPr and we both discussed our approach on how this should go: stay real general, be careful not to show classified stuff (didn't), and don't mention names or unit affiliations. Vest was inventoried and hand receipted to me as well! And from this review, our unit vest was improved.

  • 21 years Aircrew Life Support. Been there, done that.

  • No, what you have is a Lt Col abusing his rank. LS has better things to do then re-inspect, repack a survival vest. You probably never served in the USAF. If you did then you would know LS is undermanned. Also maybe he should include a disclaimer “Not Indorsed by the United States Air Force”. I believe he went against the AFI by filming onboard an aircraft in another video. Don’t get me wrong, he does a good job reviewing civilian gear and maybe he should stick to that end of it.

  • @Xterra64 @Xterra64 Another Armchair Elitist and yet closet Nutnfancy fan (watching the all vids, not subbing). Your ego is getting in the way and showing. Don't assume you know anything about my unit or how this or any of my other vids were accomplished. "Throwing rank around?" What a jackass assumption you make. You know nothing of my unit, our friendships, integrity, and application of OIs. The good accomplished by this vid was a team effort on part of my unit. Try not to be jealous.

  • @Xterra64

You have no idea what you're talking about Xterra64.

  • if he tells you the unit he got the vest from he'll have to kill you

  • Life Support didn't pack that vest for you to play with. Stick to the civilian stuff!!! Over-stepping you authority aren't we Sir. Access to stuff? Wish I ran the shop you are at, this would never happen.

    Retired Life Support

  • @Xterra64 Oh wow...Cry me a freakin river...Pretty sure this didnt impact the US military to even the slightest degree...He informed the public on things of value in a survival situation using gov. issue goods-so to me-He did the American people a valuable favor using goods that would otherwise just be collecting dust!-I say-this is tax payer funded goods being utilized to aid the tax payer!

  • @Xterra64 you seem to be assuming a lot about a 3 yr old video..I'm sure he gets permission before doing vids like this and the re fueling vid..the tanker vid looks to me about what ive seem on the Milli channel past the shot of his face .. just a thought..

  • Very cool! I can't wait to see the other parts. =D

  • Where's the gold???

  • great videos nutn!but dude stop talking so much about nothing, get to the point.

  • now thats respect

  • zzz, 7 minutes before first pocket is opened :)

But awsome video, I love this stuff!

  • If you'd like to skip the info about the vest to where he takes out the gear, go to 6:11

  • Aircrew Protection, And the folks who designed an constantly work these tyoes of systems are not life support, they are SERE instructors.

  • this video would be perfect if you delete the first 5 minutes but kool video

  • What did nutnfancy do in the airforce?

  • @MindBullets2142 He's a pilot. Dad was too. -- Veri

  • @Verilioness no offense intended but i would still take a chute iff nutn was flying thats the paratroopers nature we dont like planes to land

  • @mad555max LOL!

  • What does he fly?

  • :) made on my birthyday 2 years ago

  • I agree about you taking forever to get to the point and adding too many "by the way" comments in your videos. Having said that, I also enjoy the content and reviews in your videos. Not being critical, just trying to help you help us enjoy your stuff more.

  • hey nutn, have you ever thought about making your own survuval vest?

  • I hate to correct someone. But, the Career field in the USAF that teaches Survival is not Life Support, they are S.E.R.E. Instructors. Life support packs vests and kits and parachutes. Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape Instructors are from Fairchild AFB, and graduate the SERE Instructor course. Life Support do not teach survival, they give briefings on the topics. Type SERE into youtube and pick the USAF SERE program video's to see the instructors.

  • is nutnfancy active or reserve or guard?

  • Can you at least tell us you didn't steal the vest? ;)

  • @dirtydeedz161 LOL..he didn't steal it. =) -- Veri

  • hi; great vids, can you tell the manufacturer and nsn of this vest,it looks like some that have been on ebay i would like to purchase one,,i want to be sure of make . thanks

  • dude u talk about he material a lot

  • To everyone complaining about the length of Nutn's videos, well, that's the reason he is so successful - he pays attention to DETAILS. (which takes time) as well as gives HIS OPINION, which in my book is quite valuable. Keep it up, Nutn! Most of us appreciate the time and effort you put in your reviews, especially knowing how valuable your time is. BTW, you can guarantee we'll be seeing Nutn' on Discovery or a similar channel in the future.

  • Im happy to be a Cadet in the Airforce Academy High School :P

  • I would think that a surefire e1b backup or nitecore infilux would be better options for lights.

  • "...that been said..."

  • Everytime I browse through youtube I always stumble upon one of your reviews nutnfancy X P... Thanks for taking the time and for being so informative : )

  • hey! were did u bought that full kit ? how much ?xD

  • When I bail out i'm going to have 12 combat reloads for my HKMR762, 1/2 dozen Grenades, full tactical hard armor, and backup MP5. ^_^

  • yo nutn were you air force or marines casue you have alot of like army stuff

  • @hentaitart He's Air Force. -- Veri

  • 10 min... and all he got to was a flashlight... -.-

  • A1 and A2 is made for the Swedish Army, for the task of crearing brush when setting up large army tents and for clearing branches from spruces and brush around a military camp to improve visibility. (The A stands for "Armén" which is the Swedish Army)

Fällkniven S1 is made as a general forest knife. (The S stands for "skog" which is swedish for "forest")

Thank you for all your great videos.

    Best regards

  • Thank you so much for this great video! I understand from your other videos that you belive that Fällkniven A1 is a pilot survaval blade but it's not used like that by the Swedish Airforce, instead it's the Fällkniven F1 that is used for that purpose. (The F stands for "Flygvapnet" which is the name of the the Swedish Airforce)

  • do yourself a favor and skip to 6:40. nothing happened before that. he talks about how it;s super secret and cannot tell you specifics for 2 mins, and take it inside to start showing you stuff. and then he spends 5 minutes telling you again it;s super secret. like i said skip to 6:40

  • @len0808 i just read this now... im at 6:35

  • @len0808 lol thanx :)

  • @len0808 you've noticed that pretty good, some people do have a life

  • I actually enjoy watching these long vids where he opens this pouch and that pouch etc. Like the Level 2 first aid kit vids and these. I swear it's like watching someone opening Christmas presents. You sit there thinking, oh boy, what's next!?

  • @HollowForm222 i second that. i feel the exact same way when i see all cool gear emerge from the pouches.

  • why does it take until 615 for us to "get going looking at the pocket contents"

  • i've seen you do 3or4 vest and gear type vids and we all know free advice is worth what you pay for it so that said you ought to get a dummy to hang vests and gear from. it would help so much to illustrate the info and probably cut camera set ups in half, it would also get the gear off the dirt present the equipment in a military manner you could maybe find a torso in a dumpster in back of a mall trick it up with different peoples faces. well no charge sir!

  • hmm, a desert vest does not have an artic flashlight?

  • Hey man, could you do the Bob Out / Emergency survival kit in detail including what kind of back pack you recommend, etc ?

  • Comment removed

  • People who Complain So much i.e. v-V-v Should get the Hell Off Youtube, Keep up the Great Work TNP

  • @Jurkowski1987 You tell him ~!

  • Of course. Because first thing you do when you're stranded in a survival situation is get on Youtube.

  • Armchair elites, if the people that comment were out actually doing stuff like this you would not be at your home watching videos about something you don't do =)

  • @54thAggressors people who complain about people watching youtube videos seem to forget they too are watching youtube videos

  • I use these, and other, videos to learn from folks who know more about the subject than I do. I suspect a lot of the subscribers do the same. There is a lot of good information out there to be accessed. I find myself wishing that Nutn's stuff was more direct and to the point, to save time for absorbing the other videos as well.

  • I agree, you show excellent products in you videos, but they seem to take too long.

  • Then you're probably not going to be too happy about the other 3 parts of this review. ;) -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • well if u really r a kung fu kid,u would have been patient,i guess u rn't kung fu kid kido!

  • Haha....lol ah ya got me....lol

  • You need to shorten your videos. It takes way to long to access any information, or too much redundant information.

  • its a ten minute video....wait...the more i read this comment, the more i cannot comprehend it.

  • Note to youtubers...lets focus on keeping kits in our cars...most likely place you use the stuff...not in your basement.

  • if i was behind enemy lines i would be very carefull about turning on that light

  • maybe if u didnt talk so much u could actualy show whats in the vest. u repeat your self more than my wife

  • Thank you Father has had 8 different ones during his service And Now my Baby Brother who is turning 50 YRS OLD this year. He dose Not want them around any more... He Has just gave me two Empty...it has been a great Chirstmas Trying to find someone to help move the pouches there are double sewn in and a lot small but strong cords Everywhere CUT !

  • I have a family member in the Airforce who is a pilot, this is pretty much what he said he wears, but like you said every unit is different. Nutn this is by far your coolest video series in my opinion, Nice job on getting this. Any way you think you could get one from the navy for there aviators?

  • @MacThizzit - you shouldnt post comments while your on your period. you just sound like a bitch.

  • why taunt us by aluding to the flying unit and then telling us you are sworn to secrecy?

  • LOL don't feel taunted, seriously, that was not his intent. He's got a video on my channel (search "Verilioness" on youtube) that is more forthright about it. This one was from a year ago. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • i just watched that and...

i wanted to give you a BIG thanks for all the work you do! I love the nutnfancy project and i appreciate everything you guys do!!!

Do you really spend 11 hours just doing this? Man, thats insane!!

    thank you

  • I'm really trying NOT to spend that much time every day online..there's enough work on TNP, but I really like getting outside with my dogs and frankly, its just healthier to be off the computer! There's always something to do here though! :D -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy im very close with my sisters and it nice to see such great vids from your bro with commentary by u down here...GREAT job u guys!! keep up the good teamwork!! SD4L!!!

  • I think family is the most important thing. Thanks so much and have a great holiday season from us -- Veri

  • Unless missions & units ect . are declassified their lips are sealed ! Air America

    ( look it up 1950-1975).

and Blackwater Usaf One American S.S. Get the point .

some Units are BLACK OPPS and won't tell you anything and even 50 yrs afterward these coremen will tell you nothing because of Big brother will make them disappear .

  • That's right. You know, I thought about asking him, but I knew it wouldn't do any good..he wouldn't tell me either, I guarantee. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Great Review Nutnfancy! And thanks for the OPSEC!

  • I might be looking into SERE instructing if I cant get a Security Tech at Lackland. Leaving in march!

  • Saw one of these yesterday..I didnt like it much. The plastic clips didnt impress me much..Nor did the small snaps...Im in Alaska so Its problematic in cold weather.....But good video..thnx for taking the time to make it..

  • the USAF survival experts are the SERE specialists, they work closely with life support to provide aircrew the equipment and training they need to survive and return home.

  • is nutnfancy usaf?

  • he may be. but nutnfancy has maid it clear he doesnt want to give away his identity so you should just leave him alone

  • i remember in an older video, he was talking about what branches his friends were in, and he said "and you guys already know what i am". i wasnt sure if he was kidding or not.

  • He's a USAF pilot -he said so in a recent video.

  • get to the point, mate!

  • why is everyone complaining about him taking 10 mins on a flashlight?

if you were more observant you would notice he spends about 3 minutes on it

  • I carry Surefire 6P,I have filters for mine so I dont understand why the military wouldnt include at least a red filter, last thing you want behind enemy lines is a flashlight without a filter, lightsticks would make more since.

  • he needs 10 mins for explaining 1 lamp!!!!

  • Are u sure that having a brighter torch behind enemy lines is such a good idea??...i mean obviously your gonna use the the torch to read maps or your compass but a bright light like that would seriously give your position away.

  • They usually only use torches or flares to flag down rescue planes/helicopters. If they need to read a map at night, they put a blanket over themselves to keep the flashlight from being seen.

  • Some people call flashlights torches.

  • Yeah, I know.

  • how much does a flash light like that cost I.E the "over kill" one :D

  • "I'm not gonna look up the specs on this, because I don't really care." LOL!

  • Their is a fast foward buttion...

  • damn took 4ever to get in the pockets

  • man i like your videos...you just take SOOOO long to get to the point...

  • it is becous*** he is very god to tell you the equtment*******

i am from Norway sorry for my spelling***

  • @565Customz typical Air Force. Down range we (Army) would patiently stand around with mess trays in our hands waiting for them (AF) to get up after jaw-jacking for 10 minutes AFTER finishing their deserts... (I never miss an opportunity to place a good jab at the AF, nutnpersonal :\ )

  • @dll31p ...dont be mad cuz they stop putting desert in MREs lol jk

  • right

  • "behind enemy lines" circa 1990's was a good movie about a pilot who ejected . well. . . behind enemy lines

  • what is a lock-in

  • where people can go into a facility and they lock the doors and you sleep over night at the place or facility. with instructors and parents for minors or chaperones

  • How would the pilot carry water?Does he carry extra gear, or what do they do? Great Review Series.

  • the pilot will carry a small plastic flask looks like a whiskey flask. that will get him about a 1 qt or liter of water

  • im really confused, are you in the military flying fighter planes or do you get seployed on to land? Ace vid as usual

  • lol

  • I was in a Boy Scout troop for a while that met on a USAF Base, and once a year we would have a lock-in at the Life Support Building. Great people, and I loved the parachute simulator!

  • You know what, I dont find that being In the scouts make anybody a Failure. Wheres your story you Fucking Prick. "The cadets is Better" Fuck you sir. Fuck you...

  • oh yeah! i was only joking brother
