"Ooh, my lucky number...number's fo-fi-fo!" LOVE IT. One of the first jazz albums (yes, vinyls) I ever owned. Classic groove and the video was too cool. They used to play it on Video Soul back when Donnie Simpson was host.

The video was aired on a program called "USA Night Flight" on the old USA Network on cable. The song was one of my favorites when I was a traffic cop in El Segundo, CA in the early '80's.

I still have the original vinyl album. Thanks for the memoies!

Great song. Loved it when it came out. Used to watch it back in the day's when we never even dreamt 9/11. Not so much fear back then and I was partying hard. When you think about it, more innocent back then.

Fo-Fi-Fo by Pieces Of A Dream is awesome. The title of the song refers to the number of games the Philadelphia 76ers won towards their NBA championship in 1983. The only game they lost was to the Milwaukee Bucks!

This was really popular in spring of '84 in the L.A. are but I remember it being mostly played on an FM station that changed its programming to smooth jazz from dance/pop: KUTE 102. I always Carlos Santana played guitar on this song.
