Anyone ever wonder why damu doesnt upgrade to a newer peace of machinery. I understand that hes comfortable with the 2000 and obviously makes dope shit with it, but ive used both the mpc 2000 and the new NI maschine and damn the maschine makes things so much easier its amazing.

As an avid MP2k classic too, do you ever make your tracks in song mode or you just mute your tracks as you do in your videos? i have been also trying to figure out how the hell you got your tracks so tite on just floppy discs.

@AmbushofHelium from listening to his beats i'd say he track mutes them live and kinda freestyles it with a main idea of how the song should go down in his head. as for the floppies, sample your records at 45rpm!!! then you pitch it -50 to get it back to normal. you'll be absolutely shocked to see the space you save, also, sample in mono as much as you can (half the space of anything stereo) and you'll fit madddd shit on a floppy

@goredsox1792 yeah i have been sampling at 45 but man....i have so many ddrumz...i got through like 5 floppies per song seems like...i want 2 do a live show and switching floppies between a set sux...

=( They have SP12s and my all time favorite MPC 60II at his guitar center. Mine SUCKS they dont even got any Mp's at mine anymore only the 500 because they say everyones moving towards software and computers... goddamn shame
