Today is my daughters frist birthday. She passed away last year just a few days after christmas when i was forced to deliver her early. I held her in my arms for a few short hours before she couldnt hold on anymore and eventually stopped breathing. Everyday that passes i wish she were here with me. I no she is safe and pain free in heaven. I played this song at her funeral. Today I have listened to it about 15 times already.
I'm having a hard time dealing with the holidays and the recent breakup of my relationship of 12 yrs. I'm doing what I can to trudge thru the misery and find "My own strength". Thanks Whitney for going me hope that there is light at the end of the dark tunnel.

She had such a warm smile, a loving spirit. I am on the outside looking in yet I know there has been many times her spirit has come to me and I have cried and prayed for her. I am 13 years old and I was diagnosed with SEVERE psoriasis when I was 8. I have gone through and still go through medical procedures that are meant for people twice my age. But, this song puts what my feeling during dark time into words. Today, I still struggle with it but at least I can listen to this song and remember that I made it through! But I didn't do it alone... I had God's hand on my shoulder the whole time!:) Praying for everyone who is going through a rough time!!:)

This song goes for even those who are not religious and must find their inner strength. I'm going through a bit of turmoil right now in my life and I'm done being so upset...tired of it. I found this song and read everyone's personal stories and I'm fighting tears because I realize that this is a part of life and we CANNOT let anything bring us down. At times I feel like life is out to get me but it's actually my greatest teacher. If I fail, I must learn from it. I must follow my heart.

Without the God's love and hiss strength,I'd be so lost.He was there when my dad left,when everyone left,and when my mom went nuts and tried to kill herself and got committed,i still finished highschool,like I promised my grandpa on his death bed.BC OF GOD.I went on to the AirForce and after I got out got into EMS and will go into nursing but for right now I have too much fun fire fighting and praying for ppl in the back of the ambulance silently no one knows

i failed my exam recently and blew my chances to go to university, even though i knew it, i still feel sad although i looked cheerful when i celebrates my friends perfect CGPA score.. on my way back from school a radio station played this song and.. tears flowing down to my cheek and i wonder.. "God... i didn't know my own strength...please show it to me".. this is really a powerful song to remind me that even if i failed.. i didn't feel that all hope is lost...

Today is my daughters frist birthday. She passed away last year just a few days after christmas when i was forced to deliver her early. I held her in my arms for a few short hours before she couldnt hold on anymore and eventually stopped breathing. Everyday that passes i wish she were here with me. I no she is safe and pain free in heaven. I played this song at her funeral. Today I have listened to it about 15 times already.
