The previous owner of my son's house used 4 Orange + Orange white trace and Blue with white trace. connected to a White Rogers 24A01G-3 Electric Heat Relay 24 Coil Volts. The owner must have tied together the solid color and trace wire to handle the load. Would have been easier for me if he had used a cable with proper guage wire and proper color.
