  • i agree crystaaaaalx3, i did the very same thing

  • The stories are supposed to be about the Kids, Lewis said so himslef. Heck he even based the kidfs of ones staying at his house. Aslan is in the books but they aren't about him, they are about Aslan and the Kids and the Journeys the kids go through for Aslan.

Again C.S Lewis said that the books were about the Kids, he only connected Aslan to Jesus(at first anyway) as a way to save Edmund.

  • LOL! That was like the theatrical trailer on speed.

    Long live Aslan!

  • Doesnt the White Witch come back in Prince Caspian and she has to help the children and Caspian defeat Caspian's uncle?

  • The ending rocks! I hope they show those chubby little kids running away!

  • This is going to rock! I am so excited. Tickets are already on sale at my local theater. :D

  • There is a witch that tries to call back the spirit of the white witch in the story.

  • But then Peter and Edmund basically stop it from happening.

  • bwhahahahhaha no arrow, BUT STILL OWNAGE

  • Skander is sooo hot.

  • PAUSE AT 00:20. Susan is drawing back her bow... with no arrow. lol

  • There is an arrow, its just really hard 2 spot.

  • um... no. its not there.

  • Um, yes it is. Its just only there for literally half a second, so u've got to be exact when u pause.

  • LOL!!

  • hahahahahaahhaaha

  • There is an arrow. You just have to look very carefully. It's like only in there for half a second (at the very end of 00:20), but it's there.

  • There is no arrow

  • Oh, it's there. It's just a very brief appearance (just before 00:21), but it's there.

  • no, really... its not there.

  • i can't wait!! i've read this book 4 times already...hahah.

  • All I know is that I got goosebumps watching the trailer to '...the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe' and I am having the same response here! I can't wait to see 'Prince Caspian' come out!

  • Wow, this movie is looking so totally awesome. Can't wait!!

  • Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian) has stolen my heart. Thank goodness he'll be in Voyage of the Dawn Treader as well...I can't get enough of him!

  • this movie is gonna be so much better than the first by alot, and the first movie was awesome hehe.

  • much better quality version of this video:

    watch?v=xhfYKtuGWI4

  • This movies gonna rock!!!!!

  • when prince caspian says "his line" his face is mirrored

but ben looks hotter at this angle

  • This movie looks awesome!!!!!!!!1

  • I love the world C.S. Lewis created. I will definitely be going to see this movie.

  • I always love the music in Chronicles of Narnia...it never gets old to me!

  • same its just so good lol kudos

  • i think all the narnia books r equally interesting. disney probably thinks so 2. maybe they didn't do the Magician's Nephew first, because people who haven't read the read the book wouldn't know wat the wardrobe was or who the Professor was, etc, etc.

  • If they made Magician's Nephew first, it might've been a flop. More people have heard of LWW so they were more likely to go and see it :)

But they are trying to follow the published order, so that the films with the kids in can be done all together (so that they don't grow up too fast)

  • what happened to the horse and his boy?

  • yeac...caspian isn't second. Heck, Lion/witch/wardrobe was second. They've skipped two books :(

  • they're doing the ones with the pevensy children in (if that's how you spell it) so they don't grow up too fast, the order that they were written, not chronologically, if i'm not mistaken.

  • thats not true. the order you see now is put in how some man put it in following the timeline of narnia. They are doing it in the orignal way no c.s. lewises way. which i respect, so u are wrong, BYE!!!

  • Its not the fact that his stories are about religion...in those days people just had more to do with religion and so he wrote about life and societies as he knew them - involved with religion

  • Actually, though originally an aethist in college, C.S. Lewis converted to Chrisitanity and went on to write not only the Chronicles of Narnia but also Mere Chrisitanity, The Great Divorce and the Space Trilogy, as well as other works, all either involving Christian themes or commentary on Christianity itself.

  • looks amazing anyone know when it comes out.

  • can't you just watch the vid and see when it comes out?

  • oops im a bit dumb rnt i hehe

  • Ha ha! We all have those moments!

  • uh the stories were only supposed to have undertones of god / spirituality. they were allegories. jesus wasn't the point of the story. the point of the story was the children. he is doing quite an amazing job with the movies actually so i think you need to go back and reread all the stories to realize that they are undercurrents of religion because that's what they were meant to be. undercurrents.

  • so what if CS Lewsis did use his fiction to teach about his religious beliefs? a wild success, score one for the right team!

  • I couldn't disagree with you more. Aslan is only part of the story, just like the kids. I think if you were to take a step back and see Lewis' books through fresh eyes, rather than religious eyes, you will see that his books are about life, and all those who play a role in it.

  • that is untrue. CS Lewis meant for them to be children stories first, with an underlying message about God and faith. When I first read the books as a child, the Christian allegory was never apparent.

So in fact, if the movies blatantly touted a religious message, CS Lewis would be disappointed. I think they are doing a good job with the films.

  • I think you mean, Aslan.

  • gives me chills.. haha i'm such a nerd!

  • It gave me the chills too! When it came on during the Superbowl I made everyone be quiet so I could see/hear it...and it was totally worth it. It looks SO good.

  • that was a great book

  • I hope they don´t mess a lot that book, its a fine one

  • im reading the magicians nephew and i like it but why dont the make a movie on that?

  • they'r not making the movies in chronological order. theyr'e making them in the order that c.s. lewis wrote them. meaning the magicians nephew will be 6th

  • so c.s lewis didnt write them in order??

  • The Magicians Nephew was written later as a prequel type thing. He wrote Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe first, and then went on to explain on Narnia was created and all that in The Magicians Nephew.

  • Oh My Goodness, I can't wait until it starts. It comes out around my Birthday. I have a good feeling that it will be PG.

  • There IS a GOOD reason who they're making the movie's of book 2, then 4, then 5 (To be released May 7, 2010), then 6 (planned, but the screenplay hasn't been written).

The first could have been the first movie I guess, but there's a good reason to skip the third. "The Horse & His Boy" is an in-betweenquel, taking place while Peter was high king in Narnia. It involves unrelated characters.

  • thats a real bummer. the horse and his boy was my favorite book.

  • If they had made the movie of the third book (third in the case of when it took place, NOT when it was published), then they actors from the movie of the Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe would be too old to play themselves a year later for the fourth. Unless the movies for the third and fourth books were made at the same time. Yah right!

  • sausake15 said: "no the order in which he worte them is the lion the witch and the wardrobe then price caspian then the sliver chair then the horse adn his boy then magians nephew last but not least the last battle"

You missed "The Voyage of The Dawn Treader", published bfore "The Silver Chair"

  • oh yeah i forgot that there were more books to this series than just The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The first movie was actually better than I thought it'd be (my class went to see it on a field trip for some reason) this movie looks pretty good too

  • no the order in which he worte them is the lion the witch and the wardrobe then price caspian then the sliver chair then the horse adn his boy then magians nephew last but not least the last battle

  • Luv the book! Can't wait for the movie!

  • I can't wait to see this movie!!

  • er no but that would be kool vodermort and sauron vs dumbledor and gandalf

  • It was written decades before Harry Potter. And the writer was best friends with the man who wrote Lord of the Rings. Do your research. Are you stupid or just closed-minded?

  • ich freu mich wenn der film in die deutschen kinos kommt!!!

  • i read the book! XD like a year ago ;~; i guess that i will read it over again lol and this looks SO AWESOME! XD and prince caspian looks really hott =D

  • I wonder if the Calormen in these movies will be the mid-east caricatures Lewis meant for them to be.

  • They'll probably tone it down to keep it PC.

  • The order of the books are:

    The Magicians Nephew

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

    The Horse and his Boy

    Prince Caspian

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

    The Silver Chair

    The Last Battle

If you look up the old bbc made Narnia movies they did the same thing. Making the LW&W Movie as the 1st then Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and then the Silver Chair.

Maybe they are doing the same now...

  • That is a different order than I read them in, I never understood why they changed it to a chronological order, I always appreciated the flashbacks.

  • That's the wrong order. That is not publication order, and if you read them in chronological order, a lot of the magic and wonder are gone.

  • Actually if you read them in the order they are in now I think it makes more sence. And no that is not the publication order but I didn't say it was...its the order of which they are now calling 'From start to end'.

  • Well, I think it's actually good to read them in chronological order ONLY if you have already read them in publication order.

  • it was the order they were written

  • There are two orders, one in which the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe is first, and one where The Magician's Nephew is first. They're obvsiously producing movies in the former order.

  • Lucy's hair grew longggeeerrr. She looks older now. I ddnt get to see Edmund. I hope he grew handsomer. Cuz he looked so small and unmanly in the first movie xD evn though he was ok cute. xD

  • if you want to see edmund, see the offical movie trailer not the super bowl you see edmund and lemme say he is soooo cute !!

  • maybe i should see this

  • books were sooooo much better i read them all then like three days later the first movie came out

  • OMG THIS IS GUNNA BE AMAZING

  • C.S. Lewis was a Christian Author... yes the books have a Christian theme to them because they were written that way. I'm looking forward to the movie personally because it looks awesome.

  • who cares, if you look into any book you kind find traces of religious symbolism thrown in

  • no duh, you'd have to be blind not to. just cause it has religious references doesn't mean it's a bad book.

  • how can you guys rate this 3 stars!? this looks awsome! it should at least be 4 stars, well in my opinion..

  • all movies have message in them, wether it be ,athism, christianity , anti-war, ect. just 'cause you don't like the vaules doesn't make it a bad movie.

If you think they're terrible jehuty8.. well, you can have your opinion, but the books they're based on are clissics and great lituature. wether you're a christen or not.

  • I was really excited when this came on during Superbowl!!!! It looks like its going to be fantastic! especially with the addition of Ben Barnes!

  • I disagree, this movie is much more outwardly Christian than start wars, or the matrix. I mean, the whole lion dying for you and then being reborn, even for the bad kid? If that's not blatant christianity, then I don't know what is.

  • I enjoyed the stories as a boy but wasn't too hot on the first movie. I won't go to see this one either nor will I rent the dvd but I wouldn't leave the room if someone else was watching it.

  • Well thanks for giving us the play-by-play. You should start your own comic book.

  • Yeah, as if anyone gives a toss right?

  • wow, i cant believe they are going to continue this series -_- they are terrible. but i guess its a "good christian" movie. something great for the american family right? jesus.

  • eh, the horse and his boy sucked, they did well to skip that one, and i though the sliver chair was lame, but i liked Caspian and Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Um, its about as 'good christain' as star wars and the matrix, plz keep your spiteful atheisum to yourself kthnxbi

  • umm... its called agnostic. i have a brain and i believe in evolution lol.

  • i wonder if the phish song will be in hte movie?

  • wow that was awesome, cant wait for it

  • That revealed just about nothing about the plot of the movie.

  • if you want to know the plot, read the book idiot! the whole point of a trailer is to get you interested in seeing it, now delve into the intricacies of the plot!

  • Griffins FTW!

  • I so wanna see this......looks a lot better and more epic than the first one.

  • wtf are you talking about im 14 and i love this movie

  • yay can't wait to see the movie

  • FREEAMERICANOW, you are not doing Mike Gravel a favour by spamming.

  • ... oh... another one...

  • They're making them out of order! first they make the second one, now the sixth! its annoying!

  • They're not making them out of order. They're making them in the order he wrote them. He wrote the second one in the series first. And Prince Caspian is actually the 4th in the series not the 6th, but he wrote it second. :)

  • no theyre not

  • thay r making thim in the order he ( cs lewis) made them...but time wise yeah thay r jumping back and forth...

  • isnt prince caspian the 4th book

the lion, witch and wardrobe was second

the third was the horse and his boy but i forgot the other 3

  • Well, technically if you look at the order in which it was written it was LW&W first then Prince Caspian second.

  • magicians nephew was the 1st

  • LLW actually was printed first. Then came Prince Caspian and then the Dawn Trader. The Silver Chair was the 4th book to come out, and after that was The Horse and His Boy. So, then the Magician's Nephew was the 6th book to come out before the last book, The Last Battle, came out.

  • THEY'RE MAKING A SECOND ONE! YES! I'd heard rumors, but I'd never know for sure! Prince Caspian looks cool! But, one question, did I see the White Witch in one of the shots?????

  • oooo prince caspian looks pretty sexx

  • who the heck is mike gravel???? i thought the only democrats running were hilary and pbama. he can't be that great if nobody knows about him. and ah, don't post political comments on random videos like this. k? nobody likes it when people do that.

  • listen, aren't u supposed 2 leave a comment bout' da video? if no i could say that on fab. the 8th i am going 2 see tokio hotel at music plus interview and da next day see them in concert at montreal!!!! ha ha :P!!!

  • Mike Gravel is actually a really great candidate, and nobody knows about him because he's not dirty stinking rich, not because he's not great. He ended the active draft himself with a 6-month one-man filibuster and read the pentagon papers into the public record, effectively ending the Vietnam war. It's a shame nobody knows about him.

  • is he still running though? because seriously, i mean no disrespect, but i thought that it was narrowed down to obama, clinton and edwards. then edwars dropped out leaving just obama and clinton.

  • He's still running. He's very tenacious.

  • Aww i thought the first movie was good with the fight scene Asland kicked *** cant wait for this movie

  • haha...after having watched the older movies, Prince Caspian is funny. The old prince caspian was a young british boy with short curly red hair, and this one is a tall, older Spaniard with long black hair. what a contrasst! haha.

"I am Pricne Caspian." That line with that guy always cracks me up.

  • OMG! AWESOME!!!!!! Prince Caspian is hot!!!!

  • he looks like a boy

  • This is gonna be better than the Golden Compass....

  • No, he's a teenager in the book. They do reference his childhood, though, and perhaps that's what you're remembering. :)

I'm just disappointed that they didn't have more "new" scenes in this trailer as opposed to the last trailer. I can't wait for the movie and I would have liked to have seen some more glimpses of what's to come.

  • *sigh* this movie is going to be just like the last one, rushed, boring, and done by disney.... I like disney movies don't get me wrong, but if you're going to make movies about stories of WAR you can't make them PG it really just doesn't mix. Now I'm not talking blood, guts, gore and the like but if you watch LotR and then watch Narnia, it's really just disapointing.

  • go Aslan go Aslan go Aslan go Aslan

  • ZOMG! I can't wait to see this!

  • i need a time machine!!!!

  • CANT WAIT!! XD

  • It growled at the very end around second 26 :)

  • Dont be fooled its a kids movie.

  • i liked the first one.. I've never read the books, but hey its with the same people. Of course what else would they be doing that would make them as much money as Narnia.
