  • @SkatingIsMyWayOfLife haha yea listen to yoda beware the dark side of the force

  • Good for you for getting him back! I've had my U2 for almost a year now and it's taking him a long time to get over the years of being ina cage. He will be 13 this year, and you're right, they do target their favorite person's voice, or favorite sound for that matter. My U2s fav is the dog and a toy loon!

  • this is creepy he sounds like a human!!

  • they take on the voice of their favorite human. in this case, that would be me...

  • @1TigerBird Thats so cool :P

  • it isnt creepy well it is a bit but not that much

  • did he say peace keeper?

  • at 24 seconds he says 'he's a good bird'

  • How old is tigerbird.. and how did you get him to where you could hold him?

  • Tiger is 10yo in Jan 2010. I used to raise Greys so I've had nearly 100 of them over the years. Search eBay for TigerBird to read his story about how his CD's evolved and his story. Basically, the baby greys are cuddly from day 1. Tiger was sold to a lady who neglected him. I eventually got him back but it's taken years to help him get over that trauma. We're still working with him 5 years later helping him get over that...

  • i cant get my bird to talk like that

  • you might look at my cd's on ebay. Tiger learned to talk from other talking birds...

  • so you are saying that if i have other birds around heam he will lrearn to talk

  • yes. you need to go to ebay, and search for tigerbird. look for item number 150389509041. read his story. he did not say a word at 2 years old. i put him next to 2 other parrots, and within a month, he was speaking in their voices saying the things they say.

  • i am 15 i cant buy stuff on ebay but if he leasns to this video onge enofe will he pick thous up

  • i have had many people tell me that their birds love to hear the birds on youtube. keep searching and playing those videos for your bird. find out which ones he/she likes. i know it works. good luck!

  • ok thank you

  • sounds like Yoda

  • its creepy... bird sounds like human.... :S

  • yes. he imitates my voice...

  • african greys are the smartest birds my mom has one and it talks so much and we curse around it alot and it never curses

  • Sounds so much like a human I would not have guessed he was a bird but someone who keeps repeating himself! LOL

  • HAHAHAHAHA !!!! VERY FUNNY !

  • 3:07 to 3:17 is very funny to me.. TigerBird is cool

  • Very impressed........

  • FYI: You don't have to delete the videos to add subtitles. YouTube now has apps that allow you to add subs. Just trying to be helpful not critizing.

  • I didn't realize that! I know youtube has some new features, but have not paid a lot of attention lately. Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out! (the program i used to make the vids is such a pain to use. I'll fix these someday the youtube way!)

  • it looks like the voice on the modern boeing airplanes "pull up pull up, altitude altitude"

  • Beautiful Bird but you should use SubTitles on your video so that others watching it can understand what he is saying.

  • hello. fyi... it helps to use a good pair of speakers on the computer. only a few people have trouble understanding him. On Tiger's DVD (available on eBay), everything he says is subtitled. There are over 1100 phrases, words and sentences on that DVD. And he was recorded with a totally separate sound system. The quality has come a long way from these early vids. Just been too busy lately to do any new ones, and don't want to delete the old. but thanks just the same!

  • RIP alex xoxoxo

  • He is a great bird. I think they all have the ability to speak this well and better, they do it for their own pleasure and when they figure out it gets them what they want. We have a CAG and a Blue and Gold Macaw that are both amazing talkers and an Eclectus who only talks when she feels like it and nobody is in the room. They all can be a joy to have around.

  • That bird is eerily human. Parrots always seem schizophrenic, just talking to themselves. But at least it's cute!

  • Tiger will have short conversations with his "girlfriend" and will answer an amazing number of questions correctly. Nearly everything he says around us is in context. When he is alone you can hear him talking about the traffic, the dogs barking outside, the kittys meow, birdies havinga a bath etc... and of course, all those things are happening when he is talking about them...

  • So Cute!!!!

  • another fantastic video .. I so enjoyed ! I have a timneh on youtube talks a blue streak I need to video him watching TB Great videos Subb for sure !

  • Your bird is great. I have a 19 month old Timneh and she is becoming quite the little talker. She imitates the smoke alarm and I actually went to check it before I realized it was Bella doing it~lol

I hope Bella has this speaking capacity in years to come.

  • Thank you! I do love those TAG's. Just keep talking to them, they'll talk back...

  • I love it "fresh" water - how incredibly cute

  • it's one of those words that he just picked up. we didn't try to teach it to him... he just really gets into certain words. he practiced it for a few days and i encouraged him to say it, and say it correctly once we figured out what he was working on... it was the same way with the word juice. i have a recording of him practicing "got some juice". he said it at least 30 times in a row...

  • what a voice

  • thanks for flagging him as a favorite!

  • hi me again, I cannot believe he sounds just like a human it is so funny. Can he be crazy? I loved when he did like a little two second long beat boxing it was cute, lol. I have three guinea pigs of my own!

  • The things he imitates he does perfectly... the microwave, the alarms, etc... The same with his speech. He's imitating me actually...

The craziest he's gotten (that I've been able to catch) is the "Laughs thru this video". When I get something better, I'll put it up.

    thanks for tuning in!

  • he must like imitating many things!

  • Greys are very sound oriented. When they hear a sound, they know the sound that will follow it. Like the microwave door. You close the door, he starts "pushing" the buttons...

  • Hey, it is me marianna! I have two accounts! Ha, that is cute. He must be a very brilliant bird!

  • Whats that new song? Figured it out yet?

  • Not a clue. i've been listening to the same radio station we have him listening to, but nothing i can find comes close... it sure is cute whatever it is...

  • I hate to say it, because I have a lot of respect for TigerBird, but it sounds a little like "She bang, she bang" by Ricky Martinez!

  • Yeah, but they wouldn't play that on classic rock... it's like shoop shoop shoop, like a big ceiling fan or something...

  • Marry me, Tiger! We can go on our honeymoon in that truck outside! You are so adorable.

  • he sometimes get stuck on the same thing. on this day, obviously, it was the trucks outside.

  • Even his fixations are adorable! "Little truck!" A lot of the same conversations go on at my house. There is much commenting on food, the dog, and things we can see out the window. (No Vatterot College, however. ;-))

  • lol! I was home recording Tiger one day when he decided to work on "Got some juice". It was so cute. I caught him repeating it at least 40 times in a row. Very, very cute! His latest new word is "Fresh". "Fresh water!" You just talk to them constantly and you never know what they are going to pick up...

  • Hysterical! I really adore him. I "subscribe" to Tiger! Note my comment above. I regret to say that I think he is singing a Ricky Martin song. LOL.

  • I can't help but smile when I watch him talk - he cracks me up!!!!

  • he's been a little elusive lately. i'm trying to convince him that this is his favorite perch...

  • Well done, Tiger!

    Martin
