I don't understand what the big issue is, they're so right, she has a medical problem. In many ways Howard is right. Gabourey is very unhealthy. If she were a size 12 or even a 16, curvy and healthy and Howard was ragging on her then I'd saying he was being a douche for no reason. It's true that being anorexic isn't healthy, but being overweight is most definitely not healthy either! A fit body is a healthy body. gabourey is deciding not to change for hollywood or not to let it change her and i think she is a beautiful regardless of what size she is beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.also beauty is not defined as one type or one perception,stereotype,idea or image beauty comes in different shades different colors and different sizes.being a size zero doesn't make you beautiful it is determined on the type of person that you are so FUCK HOWARD STERN AND ROBBIN!!!!!!

@MrGrevy The issue I have is Howard is KNOWN for saying "I like my girls skinny". He praises women who are disgusting thin. He was raving about FIONA APPLE'S body who publicly battles anorexia. Yet he is acting like Gabby is so unhealthy and going to die from her weight. So he has absolutely no problem promoting women to keep starving themselves in Hollywood (which kills you faster than obesity) yet is bashing Gabby for being on the opposite side. Hes a hypocrite and I am a FAN saying this.

let's not forget that people die from anorexia and bulimia too not just obesity.so don't think just because someone is fat means that they are going to do.people hold theses models to high esteem and put them on pedestals . showing young women that this represents "beauty" being skinny.and if you are not like this you are not beautiful.some girls believe it so they feed into the stereotype. changing their bodies to fit that image.by not changing her body image gabourey is saying "fuck hollywood"

it should not be about how much she weighs but the quality of her acting.do you think she cares if she is fat no! obviously if she did she would change.the whole thing is about loving yourself.i know some really low self esteem pretty skinny girls but some confident fat girls.it just matters about the type of person that you are.the entertainment business shouldn't be about looks but about talent.people pay too much attention on the external and no nearly as much on the important internal value.

There are PLENTY of actors who are obese especially men, there are plenty who drink too much, and smoke too much but when a obese actress comes on the scene, although NO ONE ever said she was a role model or healthy, because she actually works, her size is a big deal. She gets an Oscar nom for a role in a movie he cant shut up but, Kevin James has Tv show and a lucrative movie career, no one has shit to say, oh hes just funny. People are dumb.

alwayssinmyfavo you are asking me if I'm a woman of color? You can't do much if you are as heavy as Gabby Sibide. I have gained at least 40 pounds basically due to seizure medicine. Yes, I could be working out more, but this movie was terrible. All kinds of abuse happens in every family, including whites also. I don't understand what the big issue is, they're so right, she has a medical problem. If she had an axe sticking out of her head people would say "hey, go take care of that before you die," not just ignore the issue.
