  • The best tramway in the world !

  • TRES BONNE VIDEO!!!

Bonne musique, belles images de mon tramway favorit parisien!!!

    Merci.

  • The French have such a great sense of design.

  • to vypada skorem jako ovacky trolejbus:-D

  • Les Temps Des Fleurs

    Qui la chante?

  • @ALEXsasha1987 It's Helena Paparizou singing the song!!

  • @ALEXsasha1987

"Les Temps Des Fleurs",

  • @falkovs

  • Cool video, I didn't even know they had a "tramway". I've been on top of Le Grande Arche, I was kind of disappointed with the view, there was too much crap up on the top that was blocking my view.

  • When the RATP has created this line, they have modernized a very old line, abandonned by the SNCF, in 1997. Few years later, when the RATP bought these new vehicles, it was the beginning of the new generation of transports: tramways in suburbs and all around Paris, instead of buses. Even if it is the 2nd line.

Nice song, I didn't know it. I like it. Cool.

  • Looks and sounds like the Citadis C2 Class trams used in Melbourne, Australia

(Durch langem Wege), in Englisch gibt es Variant "Those Were The Days".

  • alles klar danke :)

  • @DennTinoO

    Le temps des fleurs (Dalida)

  • I don't think I've seen train/tram cars that are narrower than that. :P

  • The look like 2.4 m wide. Maybe the design of the fronts/ends with the vertical lines makes them look narrower. 2.3 m and 2.4 m wide trams are common in European cities. In a lot of places they need to be able to pass trams going in the opposite direction on parallel tracks in tight curves on city streets, which limits the width.

  • @Ottonturk

    :)

  • @falkovs ясно.

  • Nice work, i appreciate it!

  • Thank you, I appreciate your kindness :)

  • is'n that the RER?

  • No, its usual tram. Line 2 out of 3.

    RER is white and orange.

  • No, RER is white, blue and red. Though that's starting to change -- renovated units now are blue with colored doors.

  • Line 4 is line in suburbs with a big interval on ex-RR rails, mostly on private-of-way, only some hundred meters on street level. It was impossble (I had no time) for me to wait this tram between stops to do some moves.

  • WOW! Nice video! Just 2 Questions:

    1) That was a Tram Yard at 1:22. Correct?

    It's hard to see...

    2) Is there a 2nd Operator in the second Tram that is coupled to the first one? Or is it a crew of one - just the operator in the lead car?

Great Video. Love the Music! I remember the Original Version. ^_^

  • 1. Yes. It is a carbarn (yard, depot) at 1:22.

    2. There no an operator (driver, motorman) in the the second car, and there no crew in the second car. Both cars are motorcars, this is the SMU (system of multiplate units) with a one driver in the first car.

  • Awesome! Thank you! ^_^

  • Looks like a great way to see Paris. Are metro Carnet tickets or weekly passes valid for the tram lines? I googled and found out that the song is "Le temps des fleurs"..the internet is great, isn't it?

  • This song is "Les Temps Des Fleurs", it is an Franch varinat of Russian song "Dorogoj dlinnoju..." (Through The Long Way), in English it's variant is "Those Were The Days".

  • OK!!! Merci...

  • Magnifique video
