WBAK-TV IDs, 1985-86

I grew up watching it when it was a Fox affilaite. My parents used to tell me when it was ABC but I always thought they had it confused for something else.

My dad served as an account executive and as a general manager for WBAK back in the late 70's. Apparently, he also served as a commentator after the news broadcasts. I would love to get my hands on video of this...would you know if there is any way?

I remember that 38 WBAK-TV so well, and I was REALLY young too! (I was born in 1989, but the logo remained the same for a few years) Terre Haute hasn't had an ABC station since 1995. I wonder if they'll ever have one again?

The station sucked when it went to Fox. It was a better station when it was WIIL & carried ABC.

Actually, the station just switched back to ABC and is now under the call sign WAWV

The graphics for that movie intro are cool. But that cheap-looking lettering they keyed in over it kinda made me giggle.
