  • Ron paul bitches.

  • Those graphs were way out dated, The most recent one was from 5 years ago. The one from the "Bush Years" ended in 2002...

  • @kmat1985 Correction, one was in 2007.

  • the fall of the roman empire once again

  • @1Pr0digy: America never achieved the size or influence of the Roman Empire, never...

  • @Sattack210 i know even the span of time is way shorter but the proccess is pretty similar.

  • @1Pr0digy: I think that the process is actually similar for most of the past empires... think about the brits and the spaniards of a few centuries ago... and other factors are also similar such as arrogance, exhorbitant military expenses, fake wars, laziness of most citizens, entitlement mentality...

  • @Sattack210 ur absolutely right. but i dont think that america or europe are totally screwed, if people start and get off their asses.500 years ago people were opressed, cuz they couldnt read the bible. today cuz noone got a clue of financial politics and macro economics. too bad. tyt is working in the right direction, but look at the number of views. there are way too less people watching that. even jon steward would better get more.

i'm so glad not living in the us ^^

  • Money does not run the world, first. It's people's actions or lack of action. Not to mention, that in spite of the numbers, we live pretty damn well in the US compared to the 1920's. Does anyone really want to go back to those eras? No internet, no computers, most of you have to work a field, etc. Seriously consider what's really happening. There are corrupt politicians you can vote out of office, but instead the majority are just sitting around bitching.

  • You were right. We have another crash now.

  • America needs a new breed of politician, that does not accept a salary, that lives at normal standards (“lower class”) not in some big mansion, that pays taxes, that pays their own expenses.. one that leads by example, not bullshit. Cannot believe you morons (America) actually fell for Obama. Hahahahaha

  • I mean, your statistics are true, but you’re all fucked, and its your own fault for not doing anything + demanding more power for your beloved politicians.

  • Complain all you want. Business is leaving America, and the government will feebly try to compensate by taking more and more control over your lives... of course you won’t mind because you constantly demand that others be indoctrinated and controlled. nothing new.

entrepreneurs like me have given up on this idiotic population. We leave you to the wolves. Off to China :)

  • KripDrip, if your business model works, each new employee adds incremental income. For each new employee, the business is able to expense off greater amounts of deductions from taxable income. It's a win for the business. Of course, the business takes the risk, that the new employee may not be self motivated or becomes a healthcare problem. Young workers in the U.S. tend to expect things to be "given" to them, versus earning it. Thus why so many young people are out of work.

  • Someone please explain to me what these protesters want SPECIFICALLY.

    Thanks

  • 1913. WORST . YEAR. EVER.

  • and before that black people were slaves and had no rights! They hung black people and exterminated indians. women couldnt vote. Queers couldnt get married.

Must be a wonderful way to live, right?

  • EtericEt, trickle down can work.

What has minimized trickle down is the Bush tax cuts. Before the tax cuts, the way to make more money was to take risk by growing one's business. Yet since the tax cuts, too many realized they didn't have to take more risk to grow wealth, just reap the tax savings.

In the 60's, the top tax rate was 70%, today just 35%. LT Cap gains was 30%, today just 15%. No one likes taxes, yet a higher tax rate would motivate us to grow our business, to grow wealth.

  • if businesses cant afford to hire more people with the taxes they pay now, what makes you think they will hire more people by taxing them more so they have even less money???

  • It is the rich who CREATE wealth! Yes out of thin air! Thru innovation, creating a product, selling it to us, making our lives better!....you buy something, say thank you, and leave. YOUR LIFE is made better by these people. Yes its intuitive to think that because they have more then you have less but its simply not true.

  • If we didnt have rich people EVERYONE would be poor.

  • @iluvpoliticzz or anyone could have enought to life a wothy life why do you think rich people are rich?? Because the steal, lie, and they prey upon the poor of course some invented great stuff to get rich but all banks, Hedgefonds, and so on didnt invent anything good for us only for them as you can see! I dont want to be mean but i wish you can experience how does it feel to lose your home, your family, your friends, to feel hungry and thirsty every day until yourBodyIsToWeakAnd you finaly die

  • @shame1on1us in order for the most people to become we need to get the government OUT of the free market free enterprise system. We ONLY need the government to keep us safe from those who wish to do us harm, NOT buy me a car, NOT give me health insurance, NOT control what i eat. We need a government that follows what the founding fathers layed out for us! One thing is for sure, the Founding Fathers NEVER intended for ANY citizen to be giving HALF of their salary over to the government!!

  • @iluvpoliticzz Founding Fathers never intended for the government to be ran by businesses or bring countries down with them when they commit suicide.

Times change and so must a world "leader" in economy/education/science.

No one cried foul during WW2 when taxes were at 90% and rations were handed out but during our next two wars where someone attacked on US soil it's appalling that companies want to pay less for wars that some help start.

  • @shame1on1us not true, in order to get our money, they must offer you a service or product that YOU demand :)

  • my generation grew up depending upon ourselves, not asking, nor expecting help from others... our aspirations in life were for basic needs, thus compared to today's generation, we appear to be most frugal... yet being frugal, we were better able to manage what resources we had, to develop wealth... today's generation spends all of its money and piles up debt, to where they can't make ends meet, nor develop wealth... thus expecting government handouts and hoping for "trickle down"...

  • @pick169311 Too bad "trickle down" doesn't work.

  • I have a sister who is rich and both my sister and her husband are very decent people but they seem really disconnected to what's going on with average working ppl.

  • wow that graphicdepicts a brazilian inequality in us

  • Well the rich in the US can feel very safe, because it seems many of the American public LOVES being fucked really hard by them, and they HATE the poor.

McCarthy scared them and they've been good little bitches for the wealthy since.

  • @TheSkunkCat Amen Brother. It's rape and there's no real way to get around it. I grow more bitter by the year. The poor rich people can't pay taxes because that would make them less richer.....poor rich people. The rich get welfare while the poor get shit on. The top 10% is sucking the entire wealth of the nation into it like an insatiable beast out of hell that has no pity for the poor. One day it will be the poor's turn to do the fucking and all the money in the world won't save ur ass. Amen

  • It looks like Bush Senior did great job for the middle class huh

  • yeah, thanks for bringing out the fact that this is proving the LIE of Trickle Down Economics. I call that "piss on the peasants" that's the only kind of trickle it is.

  • RR was a fucking crooked idiot

  • What country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms” God forbid it should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion the tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. No freeman shall be debarred the use of arms within his own lands. The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

    Tomas Jefferson

  • @darkblood626

The democracy will ceast to exist when take away from those who will work and give to those who will not

    Thomas Jefferson

    (He was refering to Welfare)

  • @Salvysahagun this isn't about welfare, it is about high way robbery of the rich stealing from the poor

  • @Greginda11

The top 25% of Americans generate 80% of the income tax.

    nice try

  • Wait you say that we should demand form out government but you don’t want the people to have Guns

So how do you expect the government to bend to a will with no weight behind it, why the hell should they when you want us to give up our only way of threatening them?

  • @darkblood626 Y'fucking retard.

  • A bunch of racists who want to get paid more for reading esoteric crap graphs instead of chipping in on their own. Can't get real jobs making anything cause bankers outsource everything, So now what's left a bunch of media loons, who named themselves king of the world see that they're overpayed and that their bank backers are scamming them too. so they know generally FUCK ALL, except how to blaspheme others, they go and piss in the streets until they get their Dole entitlement Go back to Turkey

  • So what? Raise the minimum wage? To what? The so called "living wage" that liberal progressives keep spouting off about? What the hell IS a "living wage"? $20 an hour? $40 an hour? Are YOU willing to pay $30 for a hamburger so some non-motivated jackass can sit there and apathetically flip your patty over and add a slice of cheese and then at the end of his shift, jump into his shiny new BMW and go to his McMansion and play video games?

How about this...GET OFF YOUR ASS AND APPLY YOURSELF!

  • America was founded as a republic not a democracy, its getting to the point where being a republic will not save the US from the wealthy, once US goes so does the rest.

how can you us citizens not see this, im from canada and its clear as day to me

  • @ingestthebest If you can make people vote against their own interests, you can esily make the not see what's in front of them.

  • @ingestthebest It was founded as a democratic republic, however you are right about the wealthy.

  • @ingestthebest Hey, I've felt this way for a few years. The idea of "mob rule" might have been a good idea back on the 1780's, but it doesn't work anymore. Instinctually, the American public knows that the system isn't working, but they aren't allowed to talk about it.

  • Comment removed

  • I dont know what the so called rich love about a piece of paper that has no value if it is not given and distributed to the poor and middle class its just held up in some bank so they can be called Billionaire what bullshit the rich get richer and poor gets poorer if thats a word. That imbalance is what led to the stock market crash in the 20's and 30's and it will happen again if we dont get our money back from these snobs like Donald Trump and goverment officials.

  • @MrDavondrick This is true. The rich just don't get it b/c they are blinded by pure GREED!!!! It's going to be FALL STREET 2011 when the world switches from the worthless dollar to the New World Currency--the Banco!!! A wise man once said " The only thing worse than atheistic communism is atheistic capitalism". I think that pretty much sums it all up!! Complete moral and ethical decline!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW...there is 13 trillion American dollars sitting in banks in the Bahamas and Cayman islands.

  • @59riggs the bankers have to go down, don't blame any race,

  • Liberalism thrives on jealousy and hate. Notice how they are constantly trying to focus you on how the other guy has more than you. When they're not telling the middle class to resent the wealthy they're telling minorities to resent whites, or women to resent men.

Here's the relevent question: What did you do to earn a portion of your wealthy neighbor's paycheck?

Bill Gates is far wealthier than Cenk...so what. What has Cenk done to make him deserving of a part of Microsoft? Nothing

  • @kazeet456 I think you miss the point. What is stopping the ceos, and owners of these massive corporations from taking a pay cut to pay their employees better. The only thing that happens when the rich become mega rich is, the money stops circulating and stays stagnant in the hands of those who already have it. When the masses have more, they spend it. Thus stimulating growth. This even creates jobs because when more people have money to spend, more people can sell their product...

  • @LemUUU That is so true more money to spend more jobs it creates putting in balance.

  • @LemUUU I agree with you 100%!!! It's pure GREED on the part of the very wealthy. It's POWER, CONTROL, EGO and the LOVE of money that drives these sick people!!! It's a disease like many others with no one to control THEM!!! They divide and conquer by controlling the news media.

  • @kazeet456 "Liberalism thrives on jealousy and hate." - Yeah, that's why we're supporting Don't Ask Don't Tell, gay marriage ban, ban stem cell research, continuing two wars, ...wait what?

  • @KDALove yes you do hate the established ways of life the Native European Societies. you are a bunch of marxists

  • Cenk was wrong on just about everything.

    1. A JEC Report in '96 shows that supply-side of the 80's worked. The rich, middle class, & poor all got richer & the majority of the tax burden was shifted from the middle class to the rich where its remained to this day.

    2. IRS data released in '08 shows that the top 1% pays 38% of the tax burden & owns 20% of all adjusted gross income while the bottom 90% pay 30% of the tax burden and has 54% of AGI.

    Dont believe the liberal lies!

  • i would like so see a comparision like this betweedn different countries, now THAT would be interesting

  • So maybe i missed it, but even if the lowest 50% of the population only have some small percentage of wealth, what is our average income? If you were making 28k, and got a 10% increase, of course your 10% won't be as much as bill gates, and yes, the % of wealth will skew more, but earning 33k is better than earning 30k. He seems to actually skip this, you would think he would have the common sense to not look at %. Also, the comment about 1920's, um, i doubt that was the reason for the crash.

  • @bluefootedpig Your an idiot. And I bet you are a Republican who doesn't have money but forms your opinion because your family is from a Republican background. Not because you want to protect your excess of money while everyone else struggles to make ends meet.

  • @friedworms13 Nope, I vote based on people who reflect my views. Last election that was more democrat than republican. See, I am one of those people that don't vote for party, and actually reflect and look at history and well, I am an informed voter unlike much of our population. And you failed to address the issue, if you are lower income, and still making more money, then what is the problem? Average income here is still higher than almost any other country.

  • americans are so passive...In europe the goverment is very afraid of the people they will go to the captaol and burn it to the ground..so the goverment listens to the people..they are scared of it...why dont you see rail stoppages farmers strike and such?...americans i guess are too wrapped up in there own selfish lives to do anything this strong. last time they did was stopping the vietnam war.

  • @Dojocho well, you need to realize our economy is based around working people into debt. Look up our economic model, the entire idea is keep people in debt, then they won't protest. Seriouslly, that the model. Keep americans in debt so they cant protest or live a good life until a certain age. When the average 30 year old is 25k in debt BESIDES a mortegage, who can afford to take the time off work to protest? Also, which farmer is going to protest when it is paid by the government?

  • Obama doesn't care about the poor and middle class. The Dems don't. The GOP certainly doesn't. We're screwed and were too obsessed with reality tv and justin bieber to do something about it.

  • By the way TheYoungTurks, if you approached these issues in a less biased manner and at least attempted to disprove valid points from your opposition you would be doing a better service to your viewers.

What are the solutions to this issue? (which yes, I agree this is an issue)

Redistribution of wealth? Social programs? Salary caps? Different regulations for businesses based on their wealth classification (small, medium, and huge)?

With socialism comes less freedom...take your pick.

  • @bonister2001 no no no... with this crony-capitalism comes less freedoms. A democratic socialism would be great for this country.

  • @ohgrx And how would a 75% tax rate would give Americans more freedom??

If you don't like where economic freedom (ie. free markets) has taken us, that is fine. But how on earth does Socialism provide more freedom? If you don't consider economic freedom an important freedom then Socialism may be your answer to the economic trouble we see ourselves in now. However, if you do consider economic freedom important, which I do, then Socialism will never be the answer.

  • @bonister2001 Look at countries like france. Free education, Free health care. Two things that the citizens of the United States pay outrageous amounts for. In France they have a more fair taxation rate than here in the united states. The MOST a person would ever pay is 40% of income, and thats only for people who make more than 70,000 a year. It goes down to 0% for people making less than 10k and sits at 15% for people who make 10-30k a year.. and they get free education n health care.

  • "We've lost track of what built this country, and that's the middle class not the bankers"

That built the country?! Try freedom, democracy. and free markets. Not that the bankers SHOULD rule the country but to claim that this is in direct opposition to what built the country is flat out wrong! The USA was founded on the idea of freedom in ALL aspects of life: religious, economic, social, ect.

This FREEDOM has lead us to where we are today and is in no way contradictory to the constitution

  • @bonister2001 yeah but freedom doesnt pick up a hammer now does it?

  • This is my favorite TYT video.

  • That graph at 0:43 is disgusting! I never knew it was like that. I figured it wouldn't be so crazy.

the bottom 50%, over 150 MILLION PEOPLE, have only 2.5% of the wealth....

I don't believe that. That's too small to be true.

  • just because they have a smaller peice of the pie doesnt mean their poorer now. Look at all the stuff these poor people have now they didnt have 30 years ago. Poor people today have cell phones, computers, video games, nike sneakers, a color tv, food stamps, cars, air conditioning and everything you take for granted, If u wanna see real poverty look at africa,

  • whens this guy gonna give in and accept that his party is gonna get his ass kicked in 4 days. just come on over to our side, its not too late

  • It pays to be rich or super poor...middle class sucks

  • Good points. It's a sad state. I don't think 'more' regulation is the answer. To me, the government needs to get out of the bailout business, healthcare business, car business, insurance business, real estate business, etc. They create such a moral hazard, it makes it virtually impossible for innovation and production to occur.

The 'too big' banks should have failed - and bad debt liquidated - so goes for the other industries. This would have been the seed for a better tomorrow.

  • The truth about tax cuts - Trickle down

    /watch?v=qWNFNV9SHlc

  • he's got no idea what he's talking about

  • As long as 1% own over 33% of the wealth, how can we expect economic prosperity as a whole? The Working class has been getting poorer for a long time, but massive amounts of credit was masking the true severity. Now that credit has retracted, we are seeing our true wealth and it isn't pretty.

  • I hate the Young Turks. Why do they have a million videos?

  • There was a huge jump in the wealth of the wealthiest during the Clinton-era stock bubble. Instead of crashing in wealth with the market, those people remained relatively OK. When the next bubble burst in '08, it was an even softer landing for the rich -- they were bailed out under Bush and then again under Obama.

Preventing corporate/government collusion is the #1 economic political issue. Don't buy promises - demand an end to tax-money and special anti-competitive deals for corporations.

  • You can just imagine an Anarcho-Capitalist Free Market with no regulation, letting companies govern themselves? Will make the Bankers today look like Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

  • The Venus Project

    The Zeitgeist Movement

  • Looks like Republicans are greedy fucktards who can only sell their politics to America by MASSIVELY lying, and keeping the truth away from the public as far as ever possible!

If these policies are the result of lobbying, it goes to show how the top one percent has TOTAL control over the lower 90...until society crashes, because this top one percent might be smart, but wise, they very obviously are not!

They create a America where the Tea Party rules, and everything is shit just the same.

  • GOP are FASCISTS NAZIS

  • As a CPA during my 20 years career I did tax returns for thousands of people, many of them were the top3 to 5% although not billionnaires... I was so sickened and disgusted by the scale of wealth and the vast incomes, mostly unearned, that I got out of public practice. Until you've seen the ledgers, the idea of "CLASS WAR" is an abstraction. I tell you it is very real.

  • @ToddBoyle yes and people like you perpetuate it

i am so happy that you feel superior enough to determine what wealth is "earned" and which is "unearned"

where is your alter located so that we can offer a ritual sacrifice to you, oh lord?

  • @Zaxxon2008 it is not I who define words in the English language, or the law or the tax code, for example. Look up "passive income", for example-- rents, etc. and "investment income" -interest, dividends, capital gains. Or theft, fraud, inheritance, etc. Do you think all these things are "earned"? If so, it is YOU not I, who arrogantly redefines the word.

  • @ToddBoyle so investing isn't work, according to u

putting our money to work for us isn't work, according to u

    good!

glad we learned how u feel

    LOL@U

u did NOT use any "textbook" definition in your angry rant. you decided, on your own, to claim some people did not deserve the money they earn. u called it "unearned"

u did NOT claim those people received "unearned income" as u now use the definition. u claimed to be the arbiter of justified income. now you want to backtrack

    epic fail by u

  • @Zaxxon2008 This ToddBoyle indicated that he was/is a CPA (Bing it) so he knows EXACTLY what earned and un-earned income is. You are the clueless one.

And to answer your question...no, investing isn't work......it's considered PASSIVE income (Bing it). I guess you consider picking up the phone to call your broker "work"

  • @twosquirrelly Bing my nuts

i am not talking about "earned income" vs "unearned income"

i am talking about people EARNING what they are paid, and that he has no right to say what what is a 'disgusting' amount of wealth for a person

that shows great hubris (Bing that) and that is the only truly disgusting thing about his crying that he was - "sickened and disgusted by the scale of wealth and the vast incomes, mostly unearned"

  • @Zaxxon2008 who said "Bing my nuts"

*_*...I tried, there's nothing there to Bing

Ok, so you aren't sickened by obscene wealth.

Are you sickened by obscene poverty?

  • @twosquirrelly where is obscene poverty? oh yeah, in communist countries where they find it acceptable for people like you to define exactly how much wealth is enough for any one person

    idiot

  • from info tab on this video- "More than 70% of the nation's wealth is controlled by the top 10%"

well that is funny because the top 10% of earner pay 70% of income taxes

also the info tab- "Other graphs in clip include a graph that compares the share of capital income earned by the top 1% versus the bottom 80%"

because the "bottom 80%" dont sell their stocks daily, and wont collect "capital income" until they retire & cash in their 401k

    foolish "stats" make me LOL

  • "It is so with people who store and fat themselves with more than their share. They will have it taken from them. And there will be wars over it... and they will make long talks, trying to hold more than their share. They will say a flag stands for their right to do this... and men will die because of the words and the flag... but they will not change the rules of The Way."

-Granpa in "The Education of Little Tree"

  • American labor unions provided the only real "rising tide" that "lifted all boats."

But particularly since an era of union busting was ushered in by Reagan, American labor unions today are unable to do this.

  • Trickle down economics = The rich piss on the heads of the poor, and it trickles down their back.

    Thanks Reagan!

  • @WesSideCali What is "trickle down economics" in text book form? Which economist(s) proposed "trickle down theory"? In the past 40 years, why have flesh and blood individuals become more wealthy?

  • @dhemingo spoon taste of silver much? man you are seriously misguided and disconected.

  • Capitalism is the most evil thing of all time and the working class need to get together and lynch those greedy assholes in Wall Street and give the POWER TO THE PEOPLE. REAL DEMOCRACY.

  • @SupremePenguinTone Real democracy? Sounds like ignorant mob rule. What is Capitalism to you? Has this "ism" generated more prosperity then any other economic system? Is Communist Korea richer than the U.S/Hong Kong? Is N. Korea free of "Greed"?

Socialists really need to lay off the kool-aid. Cognitive Dissonance is a pesky thing.

  • @dhemingo Real democracy as in a government which provides for the majority sounds like mob rule? No but mob rule will exist soon if the system doesn't start working for the majority and not the minority. Generated prosperity for who? The top 1%? The majority of the world (except about 3 countries) are "capitalist" and the majority of the world goes to bed hungry. Without imperialism and exploiting the tiny few who own all the real wealth wouldn't be shit. NK isn't Communist. They rejected

  • @dhemingo Marxist-Leninism for their own ideology "Juchism". If you knew anything about politics or the world you'd know that. And who said I support NK's system? I wonder how much of that US/Hong Kong meets the slaves who work 34 hour shifts with metal bars on the windows so they can't jump out? Like I said without imperialism and exploitation YOUR system which serves the needs of a tiny few wouldn't exist.

  • Capitalism = For the working class. Lol. LOL.

  • @SupremePenguinTone In the top 40% there are more working people than the bottom 20%. Looks like the bottom 20 need to find some of that Capitalism.

  • @dhemingo What? 40% up show wage increases not "working people". The richest people don't do anything. Without the proletariat (the workers) the bourgeoisie wouldn't exist. Find capitalism? Yeah the entire population can become a CEO with no workers. That's very logical.

  • @SupremePenguinTone "The richest people don't do anything"

looks like u read & fell for "The Theory of the Leisure Class," which claims the "rich" are out there exploiting people & have nothing to do except go yachting & swimming pools & vacations & chase women

    it is a LIE

The higher up on the income scale you go, the less leisure time you have. You make money in this country by working hard! Not by hardly working

Just because you don't work a machine doesn't mean you don't work

  • @Zaxxon2008

I don't know a lot of rich people, but the one I do know is an alcoholic. He owns a larger small business. He makes 350K a year, but stays home drunk all the time. He hasn't worked in 3 weeks. He doesn't need to. He has others to run everything for him.

  • @lostprophet912 good for him!

from what you describe, he must be making many people individually wealthy and offering a valuable service to others

  • @Zaxxon2008

you are right, it is a good service. I would have to say in this case though, his employees are making him rich.. not the other way around

  • @lostprophet912 Except for the drunk part, that sounds like heaven. Don't even need to work, and earning enough to live *and* for extra pleasures (for him, drinking).

  • @lostprophet912

2/3 of the 400 richest Americans are SELFMADE!!!!

  • Trickle down economics is like the rich throwing their scraps of food off the table to the hungry masses of dogs. But when the top 1% gets hungry, no leftovers for the poor.

  • @bballadante Where have you seen that? What I've seen is the poor become the rich in the U$. I've seen poor peasants in mexico immigrate to the U$ to work on their feet and eventually buy nice "chevys" and send there kid to college. I haven't seen that in Mexico. I've seen descendent's of black slaves live in the Pacific Palisades. I've seen Asian immigrants become doctors and drive Lexus/Mercedes sedans. Please ignorant people, take a class in economics; Economics will be most enlightening.

  • about time we get rid of the top 1% crap..

  • america is always on top

  • Welcome to capitalism.

And especially in the age of neo liberalism this is only going to get worse and worse for the working class. I just woundor how long it will be until many more working people realize that they need to pull together and get involved in changing this grossly unfair system.

  • Maybe the 90% of the country should do something about this. This is our house!

  • Is this seriously not a known fact? its the pyramid system. the people on the apex of the pyramid have all the wealth and power, putting money into certain things for their agenda's. They can easyly social engineer society into what they see if fit. 80-90% of that 1% are freemasons.

One of their top and known goals is to destroy the middle class and have everyone poor with a few ruling elite at the top.

  • This guy doesn't think Obuma or other DUMMIECRATS would turn off the internet? YEAH, RIGHT!! "ALL" government is corrupt not just one party-WAKE UP!!!!!!!!

  • @99minerkc umm except for the fact that he DOES think its insane......go away with your trolling

  • @Kaienluminyr Given that the thrills I get are free, and can be gotten in many places on utube, I'll honor your request! I like trolling religions sites anyway, christians are funny and easy targets!

  • This is why I laugh when people call Obama a Socialist. If hew was an actual Socialist, he wouldn't be pulling Capitalist moves,

  • @MasterAdam100 Accepting the power to shut down the internet is a socialist/communist move!! You're out of your mind if you don't think O"bum"a isn't wanting to push the USA into socialism!

  • @99minerkc The internet, or computers, or tv's or really anything electrical didn't exist or was available for regular people when Marx wrote the manifesto so how the fuck is shutting down the internet a "communist move"? jackass

  • @SupremePenguinTone You're out of your mind if you don't think o-BUM-a doesn't want to push this country to socialism which is one step before communism! Are you a communist pig?

  • @99minerkc First off define Socialism to me. Secondly "socialism which is one step before communism"? Really? Where did you learn this from?

  • @SupremePenguinTone Oh god, I have really, really bad gas today!!

  • @99minerkc That's what I thought as well.

  • @MasterAdam100 I'm a socialist and I have no problem with that... A person can sit there and point the finger and call me a socialist, and all i'll do is nod my head in agreement...

Check out some of bernie sanders' ideas and tell me if you disagree with him. He's a democratic socialist, and a brilliant man.

  • @MasterAdam100 it's actually a insult to socialists to say that someone like Obama is one. it's like comparing him to Christine O'Donnell except in the other direction.

  • @MasterAdam100

You and everyone thumbing you up need to learn the (massive) difference between capitalism and fascism.

  • Wonder how libertarians feel about this. On one had, we're state capitalists, which seems diametrically opposed to their frree market ideals; on the other hand, the top 1% are using the tools available to maximize profit and pursue their happiness and liberty. Wonder how long before wealth is so concentrated that financial aid takes a huge cut and food industries have to hire armed private security forces to guard their products. Gotta protect the opulent minority from the impoverished majority!

  • that same top 1% controls the media and pretty much owns the government..

    GATHER YOUR ARMIES >=o

  • Corporations must have loved Clinton

  • So where is the graph that shows what country you have the best chance to become rich if you wash up on their shores with nothing.

  • The top 400 families own more than that bottom 50%.

This is BAD for the economy because the poor are the ones that buy stuff, and the rich will not build factories and stuff unless the poor have money to buy stuff.

  • its a game of give or take 2 make it through

  • That last graph shows the minimum wage up to year 2005, but the federal wage has increased since then to $7.25

  • @k0d14k1 ... that is not all that much, considering how long it had been since the last time it went up, it does not keep up with inflation.

  • and whos in office dipshit.

  • there are people in America who are poorer than those in the lost world.

Capitalism is a modern dictatorship slavery system that feeds at the poor and middle class in the name of "democracy".

  • @MR2anu We are a republic, not a democracy. There is a huge difference.

  • @DarthKap a capitalist republic?

Capitalism fail dude. many European countries that u consider "socialists" have always done better and their people always protected from starvation. while the US is always in recessions every 10 years or so.. and their people have nothing to survive of during the crises.. no health care, no Social security even unemployment is only for those who used to be working and many of them hardly qualify for it!

  • @MR2anu We have recessions every 10 years because of the Federal Reserve and it's ability to print money out thin air (casuing booms and busts) and the over expansion of goverment. The lower and middle class lose their wealth through inflation, while the upper class avoids it. How else would you explain 10% of the country owns 90% of the wealth?

Democracies or socialist countries eventually form aristrocracies that buy political power to suppress everyone else. Just look at history.

  • @DarthKap

Capitalism allows a small number of people to accumulate most of the wealth/capital and naturally they control the nation because money is power. Mass inequality is inherent in capitalism.

Libertarians love to blame the federal reserve for everything. There has always been mass inequality in this country, long before the creation of the federal reserve. Read about working conditions in the 1800's.

  • @DarthKap We had recessions more often BEFORE the FED... so stfu.

Wiki "List of recessions in the United States" and pay close attention to the column "Time since previous recession"

  • @Blasphemer2 Those recessions were minor in scope and duration. The Fed was created in 1913 and was responsible for creating the Great Depression. Even Bernake admitted this.

  • @DarthKap We didn't have recessions every 10 years like we do now before 1980. You know, 1980 when the idiot Republicans/Libertarians started their attack on the people of the United States. Even 1972 Nixon's ehtics knew Trickle Down economics was stupid. Last time we tried Trickle down economics we celebrated with the 1929 Market crash! We try again in 1980 and celebrate again with the 2009 Financial crash. Notice the recurring theme dumbass. And who has to pay, the American people. STFU

  • @Sarge714 Those recessions were minor in scope and duration. The Fed was created in 1913 and was responsible for creating the Great Depression. Even Bernake admitted this.

  • @DarthKap we are a representative democracy.

A republic just means that the head of state is not a monarch, but rather elected by the people.

You were home schooled weren't you.

Shouldn't you be watching Glenn right now?

  • @Blasphemer2 Excellent, thank you. It's good to see people with real intelligence and educations here and not a bunch of deluded libertarians. Between you, Tomthumb, Sarge and MR2anu, there's no need for me to chime in. Just wonderful, I'm very pleased and relieved to so many sane people on the Tube for once and not the typical libertarian cyber army. You are obviously doing well in school, keep it up, there and here. You an A+ from me if it does your psyche any good :)

  • @Blasphemer2 LMAO!!!!! You make TOO MUCH sense for those douchebags!

  • as long as people are fine with youtube ranting only we're all going to continue to get fucked untill we can't even afford that.

  • false logic federal minimum wage most people dont get so... maybe he should have talked about what people have been PAID

and about the Federal Minimum wage tell me who is better the feds or an individual state?

  • yah American tops are supposed to trickle thru congress for good things, not "complex" issues
