this is an awesome model and the sound track is a good bit of fun - it doesn't look as if i'd have to shrink myself too much to pilot it, that model is HUGE ... which maskes me think maybe daltonwalters is code name for stuart little? :)

nice try on your model. Wrong engine sound dude. That's the sound of a merlin not the R3350

Hate to tell you this, but that "daltonwalters" WAS the pilot of the actual aircraft. Either that or somebody was impersonating him. I saw the real aircraft (N65164) at Sun 'n Fun a few years ago and one of the pilots name was "Dalton Walters." And Tjenilvec, Hamilton Standard didn't manufacture Skyraider props; Aero Products did. You should get your facts straight before you start trying to be a smart ass.

Neat scale model you have there my friend. Almost unbelievable that a full scale Skyraiderpilot (what he claims to be) cannot tell the difference between scale and full scale.

But why adding the sound from a RR Merlin instead of the 5 cyl Moki or the R3350 original powerplant of the Skyraider..??

My son got a hold of the video and just added the sound for some fun. That's all. The Merlin sound was all he had. The original sound track was of very poor quality.

Congratulations GEEBEER22, that is an awesome MODEL, good enough to fool a guy who thinks he has flown it!!! Great scale realism...granted, that the soundtrack is a phony, but, they are indeed the Tassie Tiers in the background!!!

Thanks, pfielgood, for your comments. Can you understand a "so-called pilot" not knowing that he was looking at a big model? Check the tail wheel, the flap-gap, and the lack of cover on the oil cooler exhaust air duct. Not to mention the two blade prop !!Hank Avery (the owner/pilot of the real deal)would have a fit. I have serious doubts re daltonwalters claim to be a pilot of Skyraider "AH" !

Wrong , my friend ! I have photographic proof of its existance in Tasmania. I am the builder of this a/c, and if you think it is real you know very little of aircraft in general and radio controlled ones in particular!

The hills in the back ground are the Tasmanian Tiers.
