If your satisfied, then thats all it matters. The thing is...

1. The team basically abandoned the cart.

2. The forums are catastrophic. The moderators all abuse their powers and simple questions are shot down and new users are shunned.

3. There are other carts that are much MUCH better then the DS-X at a much LOWER cost.

Take the Cyclo Evolution for example. It's only about 55$ but it has Real time save. The forums are nice and helpful. Also, the team regularly updates the cart.

Yeah, I did notice that, on the few boards for the DS-X that I've seen, they're fairly useless. Had I not gotten by DS-X as a Hanukkah present, I'd consider getting a Cyclo Evolution; you make it sound quite appealing. I'm fine with my DS-X for now, it does what I want it to. However, should I decide to get something new, I'll definitely look into getting a Cyclo. Thanks for the info.

Then yes. CycloDS Evolution has a thousand time better compatibility rate then the DS-X. All known games right now (atleast to my knowledge) are %100 compatible and playable. All Online capable games are supported also.

After almost a year with my DSX I finally decided that I needed to buy a new card, it still won't run about 40% of what I throw at it (even after a dozen support tickets). It's buggy and even it's MP3 player capabilities are poor at best.

I just picked up and R4 2GB it's 1/2 of what I paid for the DSX, it boots up almost instantly and I have not found a SINGLE program that doesn't run. And microSD is awesome. Hopefully we can make sure that no one else gets suckered by this POS.

No... It's 4Gb, which is Gigabits. There are 8 bits in one byte. Thus, this has 512MB (Megabytes) of memory. just think of it as if you divide how many bits you have by 8, that's how may bytes you have. And to clarify: Mb=Megabit, MB=Megabyte, and so on.

He's right... Writing the value in Gb is their way of scamming less computer savvy users who assume Gb means gigabyte. I believe this is the reason ISPs write transfer speeds in Mb/s. For example, 2 megabits per second is actually only 256 kilobytes per second. Sneaky, huh?

It's 4GigaBIT which is 512mb. There is a 2GigaBYTE version coming out at the end of April. They put 16Gb(gigabit) on the box which makes everyone very confused.
