  • r u trying to say that the third snare is the pss and the fourth is psh?

  • huh?

  • i couldn't do the 3rd snare till I saw your explanation! cool

  • The inward one is almost impossible to use in a fast beatbox.

  • look at dis nigga hair line

  • one of my snares that i do is when you put your tonge on the top of your mouth and breath out of the spacing where the touch and do it short and loud makes a better sound.

  • Wow, i guess it wasnt that bad? i did it in 3 mins.

  • i thougt kch snare is inward...?!

  • Great tutorial!!!

Here are some more snares that are pretty cool!!!

    pch-splash-you taught it

808-TCH- Put your tongue on the roof of your mouth and flick it foward, then add a tch, and put more of emphasis on the t syllable! You can play around and make it as short or as long as you want. I got that from Joel Turner!

KCH-Rimshot-Taught it, if you would like for the outward rimshot, put your lips in any position, and say GEH, I recommend putting your tongue on the roof of your mouth and putti

  • lmfao i thought my phone rang for a second, but then you got up

  • how did you learn how to beatbox? did you buy lessons or is it just a self taught kind of thing?

  • Here are the snares I use:

    Rimshot

    Click (606 snare)

    808 snare (TCH snare)

    Pf-Fp snares

    Psh snare

  • I use my teeth for doing de basic snare

  • Rofl at 4:40 your mouth looks like a vagina. Good tutorial though man :)

  • i swallowed my tounge

  • Heath Ledger

  • My co workers think im crazy for trying theses things around them lol.

  • @Daniellikesmovies dont bother with them, when you're good enough they will realise their own inferiority and all they can do is bask in ur godliness when u show them what u can do and they just sit there mouth agape while a housefly flies in and choke them to death.

  • i still cant do the inwards snare. lol

  • Really nice, and thanks for posting!!. How did U learn how to beatbox, and did it take you a long time to get really good at it??

  • Holyshit that a nice job !

I love the end chaining =D

    5*

  • are you taking breath wile you do the kch the first snare?

  • Nope. The first K snare is an outward click followed by the outward sshhh noise. Hope that helped and hit me up with other questions. Ive been away for a while so I apologize for the late response : )

    Ben

  • thnx really good tutorial

  • OOHHH no..!! my screen is so

    sticky right now..!!! lol...

  • GREAT! tutorials. This was really clear and easy to follow. It helped a lot! Thanks!

  • How would you make the click noise? I'm having the most trouble with that right now.

  • Outward or inward click?

  • @broommouse

  • its called reverb

  • I am Japanese and 18 years old girl.

    You are great!

This movie is very helpful for me.

First try snare is breathing?? or breathing out??

I want to try it. So please tell me.

By the way, I usually do Inward snare.(^^)

  • the first one is breathing out,

    good luck yukiko^^

  • If you're talking about the first snare, it is the k snare that is done pushing air out instead of breathing in. Glad you love the outward snare! one of my favorites.

  • lol @ phone and thx for tut :P 5/5

  • lol phone starts ringin

  • Imao!

  • I need to learn a really crisp PSH snare doing it by the side of your mouth.

  • so i should make a tutorial. lol

  • Comment removed

  • I'll do my best to get a tutorial up to help you out with the crisp psh snare. Describe side of the mouth so I can get a better idea of how to help. Unfortunately I don't have a camera for personal use anymore but I'll try to get a video up soon and I apologize for the late response.

  • oh god i got spit all over my computer screen

    lol O.o

  • Haha great tutorial.

This is one of the most detailed explanation I could find recently..

    Thanks for the tutorial

  • nice tut, would be 5* if u had the cough snare:)

  • great tut thanks

  • Hey thank you very much, with the help of your very nice explanation I learned it within an hour. I knew before how to breath in air at the center of your mouth to make a snare but I got a soar throat after a while. And off course, the nice click was missing. It it great that some people here at youtube take some of their time to explain beatbox in a more elaborate fashion.

    Greetings from Germany!

  • Good english mate.

  • very nice~ 呵呵

  • i know how to do this already...

if you know how to do a inward lipsnare it would be great i want to know how to do it plz!

  • Great tutorial!!!

But one Q...Does the outward snare sound come from the back of your teeth??

  • Send me a personal message and let me know whether you are refering to the first outward K snare or one of the other outward snares and that way if you have any other questions I can address them as well.

    Ben The Beatbox Ben

  • thx mate, thes snares are kinda hard, but im only a beginnner, i,m gona put a video i did a while ago of me doin a beatbox on soon. i stuff up a bit, but some parts are ok. thx 4 the help.

  • tanx very much man, thats helpful. wel im just a beginnner in beatboxing and i want to focus in techno sound, do you have other tutorials about basics in techno sound??

  • When I do Techno Beats I always use two to three bass noises, High hats, Multi-tone didjeredoo vibrations and my most pronounced snares. Check out some of my other videos like the throat pulse and let me know if you have any other questions. Peace.

    Ben

  • ok thanx dude ill check it out... peace.. : )

  • :P i can't do the 1st snare.. the outward 1 on the side of ur mouth

  • Practice, practice, practice... I promise that's all it takes. Keep up the Beatbox!

  • When I do a inward snare I cant get the sound right -.-

  • Just keep practicing man. You'll eventually get it. For the record though, the inward snare is very weird at first and may feel extremely awkward when your just trying to pick it up. Send me any personal questions you have about technique and I'll get back to you asap.

    Ben

  • cool man ;) I'll make a vid tomorow with my fucked up inward snare ;) tnkx

  • Your the man!!! thanks for the tutorial... it really helped me out!!!

  • Thanks for the comment! I'm glad I could help. Keep up the beatbox.

    Ben

  • i will learn the third snare, i like it.

but i can do this, it is very difficult.

shit, but thx for the video.

i practice and practice at home.

    thx ;)

  • i like the first snare very much. is it inwards? how do u do the click?

  • The first one is an outward snare done with the back of the tongue forming the the ourward click then a loud Sshhhh sound seemlessly right after it. The second snare is the only inward snare I do. I have learned to change the pitch of my snares so dramatically that they sound quite different but it's still just the same 4 snares I use all the time. I also really like crisp, crisp sounds so try putting more emphasis on your snares and practice that for a while and see what happens.

    Ben

  • ahhh ok thx man

    peace

  • Just a tip to all learners out there :) Try the inward snare on both sides instead. I do it and mine is pretty powerful. U get more power and more crispyness imo :)

  • really professionel :P thx very much :)

  • Your rock ben^^

    Nice tutorial....very informative and professional!

    Rock on!

  • 2nd

  • thanks man, really helped!

    oh and first
