  • "What color paint?"

  • it could be 5 divided by 3. that would be 1.6

    what about 5 minus 3?

  • Wouldn't it be 5 divided by 3?????

  • i love this part. lol

  • Alright, i'll try to help you out...

    5x3=15

    5+3=8

    15 divided by 8= 1 and 7/8

  • My Uncle's a painter

  • why dont they just get a house thats alredy painted?

  • "i should know this my uncle's a painter"

  • "Oh, and Mac? The horse's name is Friday."

I've been telling that joke every since I saw this movie.

(And just cause I'm a dork, the original joke is: Man rides into town on Friday. He stays 3 days. He rides out on Friday. How does he do it?)

    Classic.

  • It's "what color paint"...not "what kind of paint"!

  • Coach guy: Lani! it takes me 3 hours to paint a house you can in 5 how long for us to do it together.

    Lani:........Wat kind of paint?

    LOL XD

  • Coach guy-Mac Macnally

    Lani-Lonnie Ritter.

but it was a good part!!

  • Why don't they just get a house that's already painted?!

  • Bowers is actually right. For this type of problem the formula used is 1/individual time #1 + 1/individual time #2 = 1/combined time. In this problem 1/3 + 1/5 = 1/combined time. So 5/15 + 3/15 = 8/15 = 1/combined time so the combined time = 15/8 or 1 and 7/8 hrs.

  • yea youre rite, i can make it simple:

5x3 (15) over 5+3 (8). if we divide 8 into 15 we get a remainder of 7, making the answer 1 and 7/8, does this make sense?

  • Long have I been familiar with the exactitudes of the mathematical world.

  • HAHAHAHAHAH THIS IS GREAT!
