If he had assaulted a British citizen, he never would have been pardoned. there is a mass of evidence against him and the only reason you support him is because you're fans of the same football team!! Do you realise how ridiculous this is?! This is not about justice! He is still just a bully, a football hooligan who deserved his sentence and should have stayed in jail because he destroyed a young man's life and never even repented!
