Thank you for setting the right date, I found the advert on a tape which was 1996, as I did not know the adverts origin date, I used it.

I remember seeing this advert on US television on account of its recreating the floating pen bit from 2001: A Space Odyssey, but I believe it is much older, from the mid 1980s.

Yes speeta you are right about that commercial being from the mid-late 1980s because I recall seeing it a number of times on New Zealand television around that time. who ever posted this video is ten years too late with the date.
