That fight scene was spectacular and all but the t Rex bite force would have killed and held that spino till death when they first made contact. this film was a bit of a farce really. the dinosaurs in it are great but the storyline isn't up to scratch. the first films in a series is the best. police academy 1, jurassic park, star wars: a new hope. all classics, all of them the first in a series.
Ten years later, there still hasn't been a fourth film yet. However, there have been many films in which the next installment of the series wasn't released until many years later. So hopefully there will be another one soon, even if it's Rated R.
I think they should make a fourth one,Kind of like the second on and bring the dinosaurs to america and let normal people instead of these palentologist ans scientist deal with the Dinosaurs.

The bad acting, terrible character's (besides Sam Neil), Anti-Climatic ending, cheesy dialog, the talking raptors, the boy surviving 8 weeks on an island with T-Rex, Raptors, an Spino? All those just added up to it being the weakest entry in the franchise.
While, I happen to like T-Rex much better then Spino so it really didn't help that they just killed him off like he meant nothing to the first 2 great films.

It's ironic that they go there to rescue the kid and they almost steal the raptor's eggs.
That last scene with the raptors is powerful. It just shows how much we have in common with them. They went to all that trouble to get their babies back and then left without doing anything to the humans.
@TheBlueRainWolf But they were likely waiting to get the eggs back before killing them, as they might accidentally smash the eggs knocking the people to the ground and slicing them into bits. It's kind of obvious, what with teh Alpha Female blinking, cocking her head back, then telling everybody to run away and get the eggs. Plus, if you remember, when Grant calls for help, one of the Raptors runs to attack him, but the Alpha Yells at him not to.
this is my fav one for 2 reasons 1: there were multiple dinosaurs instead of just a t- rex and raptors 2: it has mr. noodle! who dosen't love mr. noodle!

I think they should had the fight between the T-rex and Spino to the end... Making Spino look the mysterious new king for the whole movie... at the end have the original icon save the day... still that at the beginning at the fight make it look like Spino is playing around with the T-rex, then out of pure adrenaline have the T-rex crush Spino's throat or something like that... (that's my opinion); ( yes T-rex fan)
Great movie, but its got a huge hole in the plot. Theres no way a 13yr old kid could survive for 8 weeks on that island. It would have been more believable if the adult survived with him when they parachuted in. Which also makes no sense b/c they found the camera & he was alive when they landed in the tree, how did he die. Plus it was only 8 weeks and he was a skeleton. WTF I cant believe they did that

Basically to sum all this argument up T-Rex was an epic figure in the first two movies aspecially as I grew up with JP as a child. But now I guess they thought we got bored of the rex and they wanted to shock us with the Spino taking him down? Plus althou Rex was a scavanger we has still capable of ripping the shit out of the spino..Unfortunatly that would have ment killing of the III films new main character. The first Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies of all time, the 2nd is decent but could've been done better (Vince Vaughn and Julianne Moore were clearly wrong for that movie but at least Malcolm was in it) and the 3rd was awful. The only good thing I got out of this movie was Sam Neill. He's a great actor and I always enjoy watching him. I honestly hope they don't make a 4th. As much as I love the first JP, I think this is one of the worst series ever.
@jerry77734 Apparently if the new Jurassic Park game does well, it might breath life back into the series. Jurassic 4 was planned, but due to issues with the rights to the series (mainly fiscal) the movie has been in limbo (much like the Hobbit and Bond movie that both of which have started filming recently).
@NCsmallCHILDREN I went to see Jurassic Park in theaters when I was about 7 and the other one about 4 years later and loved both of them. This one was an absolute abomination compared to the other two movies. People say this movie sucks because it sucks, not because we didn't grow up with the movies. The jokes are awful, the dinosaurs look cheap, the story is laughable, and the acting is terrible. The movie just feels like a cheap made for TV movie instead of a major theatrical release.
@tallguy00121 A cheap made for TV movie would be Sharktopus; it's horrific. I felt like throwing up after watching it. This is a masterpiece by comparison; at least they put some effort into it, and for two hours of guilty entertainment, I really enjoy it. But where was Ian Malcolm? Goldblum was awesome in Jurassic Park 1 and 2. Plus, the one time they reference him is pretty nasty. Hey, he helped save the population of San Diego. Show some respect, you assholes!
@cel101278 I've only been to two movies where the audience has applauded at the end; Mamma Mia and Avatar. I watched 127 Hours last week and some people started nervously clapping at the end, but when no one joined in, they stopped. That's a shame; 127 Hours was a great film, and deserved some applause. We British, however, are too reserved for that kind of behaviour :-) As soon as I've finished Uni, I'm moving to America. People seem to get away with a lot more over there.
This one was my favorite. The Pternadons were awesome. The whole dino special effects were awesome. They looked so real. You couldn't tell they were CGI.
This one sucked big time. Character development is on the lowest level and so is the story. It's so cliche too. You know what's gonna happen around every corner. The Spinosaurus should have been left out of it. I hate how this HUGE dinosaur follows these little snacks around the entire island when it has the power to take down a T-rex. That makes so much sense -_- Bleh.
This is probably the worst JP of the trilogy. It has lack of story, lack of character development, and it's too short. They should have left the raptor's look alone and kept the spino out of it. The 4th better be the greatest movie of all time or the entire franchise is dead, but since the script's been in "Developmental Hell" for the past 8 years, don't get your hopes up.

@Leatherbubba How is he a brat? Just because you're able to survive a certain situation doesn't make you a brat. We're not given much of the kid's backstory; maybe he was a really big dino geek and that's why they ended up on that parasailing trip to the islands. Granted, his intelligence pushes it a bit too far at points, but not to the point where I started rolling my eyes. The one time I got really angry with the kid was when he slagged off Ian Malcolm; if I was there, I'd have walloped him.

In the begging they where over the ocean so it could have been something else. I hope if they make a 4th one they put some ocean dinos in. That be sick.

Basically to sum all this argument up T-Rex was an epic figure in the first two movies aspecially as I grew up with JP as a child. But now I guess they thought we got bored of the rex and they wanted to shock us with the Spino taking him down? Plus althou Rex was a scavanger we has still capable of ripping the shit out of the spino..Unfortunatly that would have ment killing of the III films new main character. Although Spino is bigger its part of the raptor family and is a hunter..Rex is my fav!

Spinosaurus aegyptiacus can be 16-18 m long T-rex was about 12 m long,we don't know if spinosaurus can attack a T-rex they living in different continent,Spino was in north africa and T-rex in north america,but still Spino was more faster then T-rex

At first I really hated this movie, why? well as we all might know, Spino killing the T-rex, which was pure bullshit and after that happened, I just hated this movie. But several months later, watching it again, I've actually have to give this movie credit and a little more passion, and I really like this movie, because of 1. Dr, Alan Grant, 2. The awesome dino action.,and 3. New Dinosaurs, which I really like the Pteranadons, although I still hate Spino for killing the King.

Spino may have been bigger than Rex, but it doesn't have the power to take on a T-rex, while T-rex can because of its Jaws. Seeing what happened in JP3, JP4 belongs back to Tyrannosaurus Rex.

There's this bully who is 6'5 and he likes to pick on smaller kids (of course he's the tallest, so he picks on anybody he's want to), but he made a mistake to pick on this new kid who's only 5'2, he pickes on him, and there was a fight with these two, shortest against tallest, and in less than a minute, the smaller guy triumps over the giant bully, because he was far more stronger and know material arts.

The first Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies of all time, the 2nd is decent but could've been done better (Vince Vaughn and Julianne Moore were clearly wrong for that movie but at least Malcolm was in it) and the 3rd was awful. The only good thing I got out of this movie was Sam Neill. He's a great actor and I always enjoy watching him. I honestly hope they don't make a 4th. As much as I love the first JP, I think this is one of the worst series ever.

@jerry77734 Apparently if the new Jurassic Park game does well, it might breath life back into the series. Jurassic 4 was planned, but due to issues with the rights to the series (mainly fiscal) the movie has been in limbo (much like the Hobbit and Bond movie that both of which have started filming recently).

@NCsmallCHILDREN I went to see Jurassic Park in theaters when I was about 7 and the other one about 4 years later and loved both of them. This one was an absolute abomination compared to the other two movies. People say this movie sucks because it sucks, not because we didn't grow up with the movies. The jokes are awful, the dinosaurs look cheap, the story is laughable, and the acting is terrible. The movie just feels like a cheap made for TV movie instead of a major theatrical release.

@tallguy00121 A cheap made for TV movie would be Sharktopus; it's horrific. I felt like throwing up after watching it. This is a masterpiece by comparison; at least they put some effort into it, and for two hours of guilty entertainment, I really enjoy it. But where was Ian Malcolm? Goldblum was awesome in Jurassic Park 1 and 2. Plus, the one time they reference him is pretty nasty. Hey, he helped save the population of San Diego. Show some respect, you assholes!

@cel101278 I've only been to two movies where the audience has applauded at the end; Mamma Mia and Avatar. I watched 127 Hours last week and some people started nervously clapping at the end, but when no one joined in, they stopped. That's a shame; 127 Hours was a great film, and deserved some applause. We British, however, are too reserved for that kind of behaviour :-) As soon as I've finished Uni, I'm moving to America. People seem to get away with a lot more over there.

This one sucked big time. Character development is on the lowest level and so is the story. It's so cliche too. You know what's gonna happen around every corner. The Spinosaurus should have been left out of it. I hate how this HUGE dinosaur follows these little snacks around the entire island when it has the power to take down a T-rex. That makes so much sense -_- Bleh.

This is probably the worst JP of the trilogy. It has lack of story, lack of character development, and it's too short. They should have left the raptor's look alone and kept the spino out of it. The 4th better be the greatest movie of all time or the entire franchise is dead, but since the script's been in "Developmental Hell" for the past 8 years, don't get your hopes up.

@Leatherbubba How is he a brat? Just because you're able to survive a certain situation doesn't make you a brat. We're not given much of the kid's backstory; maybe he was a really big dino geek and that's why they ended up on that parasailing trip to the islands. Granted, his intelligence pushes it a bit too far at points, but not to the point where I started rolling my eyes. The one time I got really angry with the kid was when he slagged off Ian Malcolm; if I was there, I'd have walloped him.
