I suspect that this video was not shot on a single lap. Parts of the lap are missing and yes, that is a beetle. But remember that these were all public roads which were only closed for raceday and official practice.

@taylov917 the lap is complete, but they may have shot this with one camera only - making it footage form atleast two ciruicts of the track.
